The spicy gyoza I ordered was quite cold, and the yam tempura was not as cooked. Resturant was not busy but The staff were so rush , which made it difficult to place our order. Bad experience.
Worst server I've had in years. She brought my bento box and forgot the tempura sauce. Also didn't bring the miso soup and ebi sunomono. When she brought my wife's last item I asked for my 3 missing items. She brought my miso soup but not the others. Then she ignored us for the next 30 minutes while we sat with empty plates, besides my the very cold tempura. Had to flag down a different server to get my missing items. Our server never once came by to ask if we needed anything or offer to refill our tea.

The worst sushi ever
The Udon didn’t have any sauce and we asked for change they added a very sweet sauce which makes it worse
The sushi salmon was very old

The food presentation was good but it was super tasteless specillay beef Yakisuba . The restaurant didnt want to change it just offered a bit lower price. Don't recommend to go here ,there are better Sushi places in Port Moody.

I've noticed that the new management has neglected sanitation. But they have lots of excuses for poor service, food and hygiene.
Seems like others have noticed as well.

We had a very disappointing experience at Sushi Mori.
When we arrived, we waited about 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us and seated us. After being seated, we waited another 10–15 minutes before someone finally came to take our order. During this entire time, the phone kept ringing, and no one answered it.
Our food also took quite a while to arrive. The quality was mixed — the sashimi and teriyaki were good, but the sushi itself was not very good and did not meet our expectations.
After finishing our meal, we had to wait another 15 minutes just to get someone’s attention to ask for the bill. On top of that, the place smelled strongly of cleaning products, which made the dining experience even less pleasant.
Overall, we would not recommend this restaurant.

We used to love sushi mori but since the change of ownership and staff.. unfortunately, there has been a noticeable decline in service, cleanliness, and quality.
Off the jump noticed tables were left with food and dirty plates. If front of house looks like this we wonder what back of house looks like...
We were served with dirty looking soy sauce bowls.
Safe to say we had a poor experience

Me and my son went for dinner for my birthday to Sushi Mori last week. A waiter by the name Mahi (hopefully I spell his name right) was very welcoming and treated us with patience and kindness. The food was great and the atmosphere was very nice. We truly enjoyed our dinner and nice talk with Mahi. We will definitely return for more visits.

I have been going to Sushi Mori for years, the lobster roll is my all time favorite. The food had always been good no complaints however, the service here is absolutely terrible. Several times I have to ask two to three times for a tea when really tea should be served right away. Waving down a server is like an Olympic sport, I literally had to get up stand up with my arm in the air to get someone to come to me to take my order. By the time I'm finished my food I didn't want to wave down the server for 10 minutes so I went up to pay, which was a good idea because they tried to make me pay for a roll I didn't order. Going forward I suppose I'll order and pick up.
