Been coming to the Boot for 12+ years and usually do takeout but have dined in many times too. Really love their Caesar salad, Ferrari and Marinello pizzas and desserts. Quality can be very inconsistent, however, especially lately. It seems that when the owner isn't in the kitchen working his magic, the salad and pizzas are not half as good as I know they can make them. Hopefully the next meal is better than the one we had tonight, June 1st, 2025.

Don’t miss out on this hidden gem in Coquitlam. Unassuming little restaurant but the food is absolutely delicious. The best pasta I’ve had in a long time. And the tiramisu! To die for!!!! You can tell everything is handmade with lots of love. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience. We went for dinner on Valentine's day and I have been meaning to leave a review. Our dinner was delicious and exceeded all of our expectations! The tiramisu was one of the best we've had. I highly recommend this gem to anyone who loves Italian cuisine, because dinner was an absolute hit!

Best to go if you have a reservation. However, the place is small and busy. The food is mediocre (does not taste handmade), expensive, and service took a while. We got the margharita pizza and chicken cannelloni, both of which were unimpressive. Pasta Polo is a much better option for Italian.

After seeing so many high reviews specifically commenting on the food, we were disappointed in our experience! The pasta and pizza were both underwhelming, lacking flavour and freshness. The service was slow and not generally attentive. The ambiance is not warm, and there isn’t much of a mood or vibe. The Tiramisu was alright! (Despite only having 2 ladyfingers) The experience wasn’t terrible, but save your time and money and go somewhere else!

The food and service was amazing! We had friends visiting from out of town, and we came here based off the reviews and were not disappointed. We had the mussel special and were quite impressed by the portion sizes! We would definitely come back!

First time dining here after rave reviews from friends. We were not disappointed. From what we can see mostly locals from the hood. Get here early on weekends. The Ceasar salad was delish with a tangy/garlicky golden dressing, lasagna was very meaty and tasty (which is rare) and course excellent pasta and pizzas. Would definitely return.

Number one priority to me is service, I called for pickup, they said 25-30min. I get there just after the 30min mark. Proceed to wait a few minutes before they told me I have to wait outside in the cold (I walked over as Im a block away) after 20min later than the initial 30min wait they bring out my food. I complain about the wait and the fact they made me wait outside and they said they had a larger order come in and so dealt with that... I should have read reviews about their terrible service before even ordering from here.

Ordered take out over the phone and was given a pick up time of 25-30 minutes , no problem. We went in to pay and pick it up but it was not ready yet as there was a “table with a big order” that they were doing. Okay , so people who order take out and given a time - that’s too bad. We waited an extra ten more minutes , and in this time - were told to wait outside. Excuse you ? Wait outside ? I have never been treated so poorly by any restaurant whenever there was a take out order. So I can firmly say that the customer service was terrible, and as for the food .. the pizza was very dry , however, the lasagna was their saving grace. I would not return -not even for dine in based on the poor service. Such a shame.

I have no idea how this place has such high ratings. The food was mediocre at best and definitely not worth the price. But the service? An absolute joke. I waited nearly TWO HOURS for my food, only to be told they gave it to someone else. When I finally got it, the place was minutes from closing, so I had to gulf it down with zero apology from the staff.
This place is disorganized, careless, and clearly doesn’t value its customers. I hope they take this as a wake-up call, but honestly? Save your money and go elsewhere.
