The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Coquitlam

We are frequent patrons and last night was so disappointing for my adult daughter and I. We had a reservation, sat on time but waited 15 min for our server, being offered any water or even greeted. We ordered prime rib which was delicious and New York steak (medium rare) but was overcooked. Considering how long we waited for service we didn't want to send it back. We ate and then hoping to leave but had to wait another 15 to 20 min for our server to request the bill. Please note our serve was extremely friendly and polite. She even offered us a complimentary dessert for our wait but unfortunately we were out of time and declined. Just extremely disappointed how our Mother/Daughter dinner went with the long wait times and overcooked NY steak.

Had not been to the Keg for many years and don't really know why. Staff were very accommodating and food was super. Won't be so long this time before we return.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Keg in Coquitlam. Our server Dani was extremely friendly and cheerful and helped make it a special night. The food was amazing and the entire experience was one of the best I ever had at any restaurant I have ever been to. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, I will be returning very frequently to enjoy the amazing food and experience.

Great night out and staff was attentive to Birthday girl. Food and drinks 🍸 were all good !

The prime rib was not its usual perfect. My wife had to send her's back but there was minimal delay in receiving a new one. I also had the prime rib and it was pretty good but is usually a little better. We both ordered medium but they both were slightly tougher than usual. Our company fully enjoyed their meals. We are regulars at the Keg and usually enjoy the consistency that we have come to expect.

I've always depended on the Keg's great food, but tonight it was all about the service. From the charming welcome at the door to the prompt seating, my wife and I were quickly in a good mood. It was made even better by the pleasant and witty Sierra who delighted us with unexpected surprises for our anniversary: two glasses of champagne and dessert to cap the meal. The food was delicious as expected but made more memorable by the genuine charm and attention of the service.

Thank you for helping us celebrate a birthday. Jake was an awesome server. Food was delicious as usual. The renovations also look great.

Graham is a great server! My veggies were well done and burnt, he fixed that right away! His overall service is excellent

It was my friend’s 60th birthday. There was 20 of us. The food was phenomenal, it’s my feeling it’s far overpriced though. The atmosphere was nice, nothing spectacular though. The lighting at the table we were sitting at was far too bright overhead. It felt like we were under spotlights. Not really the ambiance you want during a dinner party. The service was amazing. Took very good care of all of us. I would recommend it, however, I need to say again, I think it’s far overpriced though.

Mac was so good serving and gave us suggestions!!food was so good , portion itself was good enough !! Ambience was amazingly done , they were closed for renovation and the turn back was AMAZINGLY AWESOME!! Keep up good work team KEG!

Decided to give it a.try for my birthday as we hadn’t been for a year . Busy and our server was trying his best but service was slow , we ordered one drink and was never asked if we wanted another . Felt neglected the whole time , was sad for the prices .

Disappointed with the steak my wife got. We both ordered New York strip loin steaks and the one my wife got was tough, dry and not as good quality as we had expected. we have been here a few times before, it’s our once or twice a year treat. My steak was good, we ended up sharing a good and a bad half each.
Sticky toffee pudding wasn’t very good, it was dry and would not recommend.

Dani was our waitress and left us with a fantastic experience to share. She went above and beyond when it came to my allergies. I feel safe in their hands and the food was amazing. Rare to find these days. Thank you Dani!

Dietary restrictions: For dairy allergies the cauliflower mash was a great recommendation from Dani and I wouldn't have known the difference from mashed potatoes.

We came for our late dinner and we truly like this place. The Steakhouse is delicious, also the vegetables and potato. My daughter really enjoyed and she tasted everything on her plate. Will come back here many times.
