The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Coquitlam

The food is always fantastic. It has always been a pleasure to dine at this establishment. We are always met with a friendly greeting upon arrival and an appreciative “thank you” when time to depart. The customers experience is always top priority. We have had our server, Phillip, on two different occasions and will probably name request him in the future.

I specifically booked Keg because it was my husband's birthday but it felt like we were being rushed by our server and we weren't even offered the birthday slice of cake.

This is the first time we were not really pleased with our steak . Both sirloins were somewhat dry and overdone. Usually when we cut into the steak it is so juicy but not this time . There was some gristle in mine also , not much but never had chewy pieces before . Mine was ordered medium and my wife's medium rare . We didn't complain as the rest of the meal was very good , excellent scallops and bacon and lobster gratinee was also excellent all washed down with Chardonnay . Our server was great too, as they always are at the Keg . It won't deter us from returning as we always enjoy the Keg, this hopefully was a one off .

This was an anniversary dinner for us. We were surprised with a glass of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. And a dessert to share. Both compliments of the Keg. My meal was the prime rib. Done to perfection. My wife had a steak with salad which she enjoyed. Service from our server was awesome.

We had a great experience at The Keg. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Our waiter was exceptionally attentive and friendly, making us feel well taken care of throughout the meal. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the seating was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

As always, we had a great family meal together. Our service was excellent and our party of four were all very happy with the quality of our meals.

Food was good. I’d come back just for Philip.

Coquitlam Keg: Our server Gino was top three of all the Keg servers we have had over the past 45 years! It was a special night (we took my 83 yr old mum out for what would have been my parents 65th Wedding Anniversary (dad passed away one month ago). Gino brought champagne 🥂for us to toast dad. It made the night special even under the circumstances. The food & service was amazing, topped off with Billy Miner pie of course!! Thanks you The Keg for the “good times” and the memories.

This is my fave Keg and have been coming for bday celebrations for years. The staff are so professional and accommodating, service excellent & food almost always so good!! If it isn’t, they see to it you are satisfied. Phillip, the mgr last night was so good to us..we will definitely keep coming back to the Coquitlam Keg!!!

We had a blast! The food was amazing. Huge thanks to our server Philip (hope I got that right!), you were an awesome addition to the whole experience!

We are frequent patrons and last night was so disappointing for my adult daughter and I. We had a reservation, sat on time but waited 15 min for our server, being offered any water or even greeted. We ordered prime rib which was delicious and New York steak (medium rare) but was overcooked. Considering how long we waited for service we didn't want to send it back. We ate and then hoping to leave but had to wait another 15 to 20 min for our server to request the bill. Please note our serve was extremely friendly and polite. She even offered us a complimentary dessert for our wait but unfortunately we were out of time and declined. Just extremely disappointed how our Mother/Daughter dinner went with the long wait times and overcooked NY steak.

Had not been to the Keg for many years and don't really know why. Staff were very accommodating and food was super. Won't be so long this time before we return.
