I really like the place and I have visited it on several occasions, especially the one located on Granville Island. I just want to say that I am one of those who tip, not what they suggest, but according to the service and not the amount, which is what I see. What happened over the weekend when visiting them? In this case, I think the waiter expected much more than what he gave him and his reaction was somewhat rude and he did not hide his anger. It is not an obligation to do so, but they should emphasize that his reactions are not so noticeable. In my opinion, it somewhat tarnishes the excellent service that characterizes them.

Best food and service I've ever had. Phil, our server, was very knowledgeable and he explained all food options on the menu. Our New York Striploin is delicious. It could not be any better. It was our anniversary and the restaurant complimented with a cheese cake. I highly recommended to go here.

As expected keg quality food. I do find service is not what it used to be (this is anywhere) but the keg used to be known for its top notch service and the way servers used to greet and handle a table is completely out the door. The last few times we have decided to go to the kegs we find your servers are quick to drop the food while honestly walking past the table. It's basically dump while they keep walking. I'm not sure if it's due to them being over worked or people just don't care to invest their time as tips are an expectation rather then based off the quality and experience now. We are fairly simple people and don't have massively high expectations but it is disappointing the keg like many other establishments just don't have good customer service anymore and for this we mostly rather eat at home.

It's too expensive for what it is. The service is next level, no complaints there. The restaurant is clean and has a good ambience. The food is good, just way too expensive. I just find it hard to spend a weeks worth of groceries on a steak dinner. Nice for a treat every now and then, I suppose. I find the value for mist restaurants is far too low these days.

It would have bin nice to have remembered to say we wanted the Prime rib “dinner “ and not just the prime rib. The dinner was great but it would have bin wonderful if the water had asked “ dinner “? It would have made everything so much better. It has happened before and it's frustrating that he and other waiters don't to make everything separate to make more for the boss . But it would of bin a bigger tip if he or the ones in the past chose to.

On the food, on person has an 8 oz. steak and found that it had fat and grizzle in one area. The rest of his food and the other diners was very good. The waiter did his job, was pleasant but was a little abrupt. We felt like we were being hurried along.
