I was very disappointed with this Iranian supermarket during Nowruz. When I went to buy a goldfish, the staff were not cooperative at all and offered no help in choosing. Their attitude, especially on New Year’s Eve, was far from friendly or welcoming. Definitely not the experience I expected.

I had a very disappointing experience at Urban Gate in Vancouver. I purchased minced meat, but when I got home I noticed the color was abnormal and did not look fresh. I/ went back to the store to request an exchange or refund, but the manager refused to accept it. This was both frustrating and concerning given that food safety should be a top priority.
Not only was the product questionable, but the lack of accountability and poor customer service made the situation worse. I would not recommend this store to anyone who values quality and fair treatment.

We ordered our wedding cake from this bakery, and we couldn't have been happier with the result! The cake looked exactly like the photo we shared with them and it was incredibly delicious and fresh.

I was very disappointed with my visit to your store yesterday. The cashier and one of the bakery staff were not welcoming, and this is not the first time I have experienced such behavior — I had a similar experience with another cashier before. If staff are upset, they should not take it out on customers. I believe better customer service training is needed. I will not be coming back, and I will also advise my friends not to shop here.

Spontaneous choice for dinner. I can’t remember the name of the lamb dish, it was ona bed of plain rice and saffron rice, with roasted tomato and pickled jalapeños. It was delicious. Under $20 and plenty leftover that I will enjoy when I get home for dinner tonight. Yum! 😋
I also tried a plain yoghurt drink that paired well with what I was eating
I will definitely be back multiple times they do have a customer appreciation for multiple visits… I think they said when I had 500 points I get a free meal.

Bought Shole Zard, Persian desert., suppose to taste Saffron, anything but Saffron ( you fell like eating orange marmalade! At least it wasn’t expensive 😄.

The owner is nice but the staff on the grocery side are very rude and follow customers around the store even if you are clearly well dressed and middle aged. There are many Persian grocery stores in the area that provide a better, more respectful customer experience.

Rock Bottom. This place has officially hit rock bottom. The koubideh is a joke now, thin, full of holes, like they’re stretching what little meat they use just to fake the size. It’s dry, flavorless, and sad. The tachin is soggy, missing the chicken, and just an oily mess. Honestly, the food was never amazing, it was basic to-go food at best, but now it’s straight-up trash. You walk out feeling ripped off and sorry you ever ordered. Whatever standards they had are long gone.
