No nonsense Korean restaurant. It’s a good sign when all the servers and patrons are Korean. Soup was very bland, but the galbi was delicious. Service call by pressing a button at your booth. Menu isn’t large and very little banchan (barely enough for two people)

Service felt noticeably unfriendly at several times during the visit.

Closest place to Coquitlam that I could find with dolsot bibimbap, which was enjoyable. Love the crunchy rice at the bottom.

Not sure what the soup was that came with it as seemed milky and a bit tasteless.

Location requires a walk along a very traffic polluted road to get to if you’re coming from Lougheed sky train rather than driving (there’s a sizeable...

You can till have fourteen dollar beef soup with just made hot stone bowl rice and fresh kimchi. But, you will have 4-5 of sliced beef in each soup :) The soup is tasted clean all the time. No sign of MSG. You need to put salt and pepper though. Services are always good to me. The servers check each table and ask what you need else. I hope the amount of beef can be increased equally in the future. Always, if you have a chance, a good Sullungtang place does not shy about the meat...
