Waves Coffee House - Coquitlam Center

We went for breakfast. Sausages took a bite, and it was cold. The sausage patty was cold. It just tasted horrible and gross made me want to puke !

Worst Waves Coffee location in BC! The middle aged guy who owns the place was giving me the attitude for picking lactose free milk. He is a piece of work. He was SO RUDE! My wife and I ordered two $8 drinks and he was adamant I should just get mine with regular milk as lactose free milk cost $1 extra for them. If he was nice about it and not so pushy, I may have accommodated his request. It appears a few people have experienced the same poor customer service.

My wife and I also made a mistake of ordering hot chocolate drinks instead of mocha (espresso with chocolate and steamed milk). When I confirmed with the greyed hair owner that is indeed what we did, he was very rude in communicating that we ordered hot chocolate drinks. I admitted very quickly that we made the mistake. I didn't mention it to ask for replacements at their expense. I was simply confirming what we had ordered. Customers support your business and should not be treated as adversaries. Not everyone is out to get you or get your costs up.

Avoid this place at all cost!

All I have to say is waves is my new coffee drink place I got a frapp and I had so many choices given to me including three different kinds of chocolate a choice of yogurt base or ice cream and protein powder option and the chocolate is real Belgium chocolate no syrups or powders and omg it's delicious I will only come to waves for when I'm craving frapps and can't wait to come back and try more on their menu mmmm mmmm mmmm I highly recommend blows JJ bean and Starbucks out of the water by a long shot and staff was just awesome all around

It's kind of a neat little oasis in the mall here with a coffee shop that's not owned by corporate mega-conglomerate. This couple has always taken such good care of me, and they make the best caramel latte I've had in a long time.

The older man taking orders is rude. We asked a simple question and he gave a dirty and irritated look and rude response. I will not be visiting again.

The coffee was awful and the service was even worse. They don't provide napkin or anything. The worse coffee shop I have been in my life! Stay away!

Wave Café is a lovely spot with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The coffee is excellent, and their matcha is especially tasty and clearly made with quality ingredients. I also tried a couple of their cakes, and they were fresh, flavorful, and not overly sweet, which was perfect. A great place to relax, catch up with friends, or enjoy a quiet moment with a really good drink and dessert. Highly recommend! ☕🍰

Poor service. Owner refused to give us napkins after spilling our coffee her said the mall staff will clean it up.
