This review goes out to Colin (I hope that’s your name!).

My partner and I came in about a month ago for dinner it was our first time having dinner there. I ordered the fish tacos because they’re usually a safe bet when trying somewhere new. Unfortunately, they just weren’t for me. I didn’t make a fuss and simply didn’t eat them. Meanwhile, my partner’s meal was SO delicious.

Colin noticed I hadn’t touched my tacos and immediately came over. Without me saying a word, he insisted I order something else. My partner had already finished his meal, so I felt bad making us wait for something new to be cooked but he reassured me.

I ordered the halloumi, and he also suggested I try the tuna egg pockets (I forget the official name!). I was hesitant because I’m not usually a tuna person, but he insisted. Both dishes came out incredibly fast.

And this is where everything changed.

The replacement meal was absolutely mind-blowing. I crave both of those items constantly now. We’ve been back every two weeks just for them.

Colin didn’t charge me for the item he insisted I try. That level of attentiveness, kindness, and intuition turned us into loyal customers. Because of him, we’ll happily keep coming back and recommending this place to everyone who asks where to eat.

Ordered food to go. Was not told the recipe was changed. Why change a recipe that haz been the same for 20 year's? And then you dont mention that to a customer that is driving there to pick it up? Hello? Not to mention the pita was stale and cold when its normally grilled. I used to send people there weekly. Wont be back ever.
I'm adding to my review after reading the insulting response.
Carla, don't insult my intelligence. I know what stale tastes like, I know what grilled and cooled down food is from not heated at all. The pita, if heated at all was barley grilled and was stale. The fact you took the time to respond and didn't even address my main complaint tells me that the ego is bigger than your logic. I said its your restaurant and you have the rite to change anything you want, the problem is that you didn't tell me that the recipe was changed when I ordered it and I drove across town just to feel ripped off. FYI the menu did not reflect the change.

Well, nice place, split into two rooms.
Has bar seating.
Lots of tasty options

My Squash soup was amazing.
The Ahi tuna taco not so much.
When broght up to my nose you got that fishy smell and eating it was a bad after taste.
Not that it was inedible, it was just a result of the fish left out uncovered for a little to long.

I went for lunch today with a couple of friends. I ordered the seafood chowder & it was delicious. i enjoyed my lunch, our server was awesome. We had completed our lunch, paid the bills & were winding up getting ready to leave. We were then approached by the greeter & asked to leave as there was a line forming. I was a little shocked by the request. Is this the NEW customer service one can expect out there? I had really enjoyed my lunch up to this point & I do not think I will go there again.

We visited the Atlas for the first time since the ownership changed hands tonight and quite frankly we were disappointed in our experience. The Atlas has been a solid staple in our community for years, generating deliciously consistent food. Tonight, we ordered the Kofta meatballs which were overcooked & dry as well as being far too saucy. The dish itself is supposed to come with pita bread, which was forgotten, and when it did arrive after we asked, we got 3 small & incredibly dry pieces on a plate. The Angela burger was good, but certainly not as deliciously cooked as I remember…
I hate to say it but we left the Atlas tonight feeling quite disappointed…and that’s a first for us.

Disappointing experience despite good reviews.

I decided to try this restaurant based on the positive reviews, but my experience was far from great. When we arrived, we had to wait several minutes before being seated. The server mentioned she’d ā€œfind us a spot,ā€ but the couple behind us were seated and served before we even got our food. Because they are local

It took about 15 minutes just to get a black coffee, and over an hour for our food to arrive. The manager did apologize, but by then we were out of time and had to take our meals to go. The food itself was just okay nothing special, especially considering the long wait and poor service.

I did still leave a tip, but overall, the experience was disappointing. I’m not a local, and I’m used to higher dining standards, so this just didn’t measure up. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t back.
