This place has the best pizza in town. No question about it... It's not the cheapest pizza. Because of this we only eat here on special occasions. You get what you pay for.. It's too bad so many people won't bother to try this place because it is a "convenience store". I always brag about this pizza but often as soon as they hear the word "convenience" they write it off. Honestly, I understand why they do but this place is a diamond in the ruff!

Don’t recommend will never step foot in the place again workers are underpaid and under appreciated the fact no raises have been given to some people that I worked with who have been there for years and are the main reason they haven’t gone out of business in my opinion is gross I got fired for the worlds dumbest reason and instead of constructive criticism and teaching since I was still kinda new no I didn’t get that I didn’t really even get treated like a human being and just got tossed out like I was trash worst experience I’ve had with a boss / owner and I’ve dealt with some bad bosses everyone else who works there are so nice and deserve better

As far as the people working there goes, I have to give 1 stars. Tried to buy ice cream, it was about 7 at night, and the male cashier started very loudly judging my choice to buy ice cream when talking with another customer. I cant imagine why you would hire someone so willing to vocally judge anyone who walks into your store. As long as you're employing people like that I'm not giving anymore money to this business.

I love to support local businesses although I’ve had countless terrible experiences at this store. Food is great but the customer service is disgusting, usually from an older woman at the till. Always rude, never friendly. I hope the owner is able to view this review as this woman is ruining the reputation of your store. I’ve heard many complaints of the same regard. As a regular customer I am disappointed to say I no longer support this business and will no longer return. I hope you can look at your employees working without supervision as they are going to ruin your business. (Your other staff is amazing)
Worst customer service. I hsve a feeling they either discriminate against people because of their mental health or their skin color. Whenever I go in to buy something the old woman working the register never says "you are welcome" or make any small talk. Just dead silence. It weirds me out. It's like she is silently saying you are not welcome here. Absolute terrible customer service. The other employees are really nice. If she is some political person tell her to keep it outside her job.

20 mins outside Courtenay - whipped out the phone to order a medium Popeye for pick up. One of my favorite things to eat when we visit Comox Valley. Excellent crust (cripsy but chewy) & toppings are fresh & good quality - all oven baked to perfection. Takes average 30-40 mins so call ahead.

The older lady isn’t exactly very friendly, the ice cream man makes up for it though.Pizza is, well, pricey, to say the least. The ice cream has a great price for the amount you get.

1.5Hrs + to wait for take-n-bake pizza is crazy! Their pizza is good, but not. that good. Why would I wait that long to take pizza home to cook? I'll just order from Islander and I can pick it up, cooked, in 30min or so. Beaver Convenience. has lost sight of the "convenience" part of their name. It's too bad.

Plus it was burnt on top.I would'nt go back Totally disappointed.Plus the cashier was sullen and not very friendly. In total not a great experience.I'm giving it 3 stars only because it's a family business and I hope they can do better
