Yolanda and her team just catered our wedding and we were super happy with her and her team. Communication was good leading up to it which is important to me. The day of the wedding we had appetizers early afternoon then buffet dinner later on. Everything came out on time and the food was excellent, everyone loved it all! Her and her team were just amazing throughout, helping to clear plates and completely cleaned up when they were done. Highly recommend them and would use them again. Thanks Yolanda!

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our wedding buffet food and service. As our day drew near, communication with Yolanda was difficult as she was so busy. Many final details were missing including whether tables would be provided for the buffet, do we provide the plates, etc… (we didn’t know!) The team that attended our wedding for buffet service arrived in a highly stressed & frazzled state. Most team members, although lovely people, were inexperienced and very slow to replenish the food. The food itself was under-seasoned and when I reached out to Yolanda with some feedback, and for her to retrieve items left behind, she informed me that “my team did that job.” We thought we were hiring Yolanda, specifically, and were never informed otherwise. I feel we didn’t have unrealistic expectations, but we did expect more professionalism, quality, and attention to our very special day. We had 125 adults and 25 kids, for reference - the cost was substantial.

There was consistent and professional communications throughout our preparations for the event, an amazing oyster bar service (we had 16 dozen oysters for the event and the team were master shuckers indeed!), the wonderful canapés for the champagne toast, and all the various details that Yolanda and her team delivered on the day of the event. If you’re looking for an amazing meal to suit your needs look no further. Mark came thru with a weeks notice when the previous caterer backed out for our wedding reception. He provided a Great menu at a Decent price. Our Guests were thrilled with the quality and variety of food. Mark and his team were Accommodating and Flexible with quick communication (regarding possible allergies and ingredients) He was Easy to work with and For the price there was an abundance of food!! We were quoted paid for 60 plates and we for sure could have fed close to double that. The deposit for rented equipment returned almost before we left the parking lot. The friendly staff at Custom Gourmet catered our wedding this summer and we really appreciated all of the teams hard work to keep our guests fed and venue space tidy. The communication with Yolanda leading up to the day was clear and accommodating to some last minute guests changes and needs. As buffet food goes, the meal was good and our guests enjoyed it. However, there was some discrepancy with some of our menu choices, such as our cocktail canapes and one of our mains (beef skewers) was overcooked and underseasoned. Had an effort been made after the day to apologies for the menu error, it would be 5 stars without a doubt.

Amazing food, and such a hard working team. Seriously. They catered my wedding in May 2022, and it was raining the whole week before which meant the venue was a fair bit soft (venue was farmland in black creek), and unfortunately their van got stuck on their way in. Even with the delay of getting them un-stuck and an issue with a tent they had food out on time, and it looked and tasted amazing.I wish we had some pictures of the mains because it really was phenomenal, we had grilled pork with gremolata, and prosciutto gruyere wrapped chicken with tomato sauce. They paired the mains with some sides which worked wonderfully, and everything was incredibly tender and well seasoned.After the service they cut the cake for us, and even washed all the dishes. The service they provided was invaluable to us, and both the wedding and pack up the next day would not have gone as smoothly without them.
