FIRST VISIT
The windows are filthy today and it’s unfortunate that it is in direct sun facing west. For a food establishment, it looks poorly for cleanliness.
Unfortunately, as the door to the restaurant opens with ease, the slow close turned into a quick close which I was not expecting. As I had not yet fully entered, the door came back on my right hand with such force that I immediately felt great pain. It was as if my hand was smashed hard with a rock. I was wincing and crying out in pain, and watching my knuckles turn purple and also one was close to being an open cut. I sat down to catch my breath and asked the cashier for ice and a bag. Once the ice was on, I could slow my breathing and carry on (in pain still). NOT ONCE did the cashier ask if there was anything he could do for me. The cook's body language told me everything I needed to know about how he felt right then...no interest whatsoever in his work, my situation that unfolded, or even to say hello or have a good night. NOTHING. He did not say ONE word to me. It is absolutely disappointing for customer service at most establishments these days. All we look for is basic courtesy towards each other.
Here's the ending. The dinner I brought home for my family was the skewers, rice, potato, pita bread, and Greek salad combo x 2.  The salad was sad, the bread was fine, but the meat and potato were dry, as well as the rice was dry and under cooked. There was no saving the meat - so dry.
I will not visit there again, but certainly let others know what you could expect.

Ordered takeout and there’s no salad dressing on the salad. The portion is tiny, and the chicken is dry and overcooked. Only good thing was the potato, which they generously gave me ONE of. Don’t waste your money here.. just go another Opa.

They are my favorite place and they are the nicest people EVER! I live off this stuff cause they truly make everything with love and I love them 💙💙💙

I've had Opa in other cities and it was always pretty good food. This was not that. Probably just the pathetic workers I hope this ends as if I go to another opa and it is as bad as this place then I will never return to another opa

Ordered an Olympus bowl from doordash, the salmon was horribly overcooked to the point of looking like dried out chicken, jalapenos were entirely omitted in spite of selecting them as a topping, and the portions of the other toppings were ridiculously small. We also found hair in the meal as well, I am extremely disappointed and will not be taking my business here again.

All I can say is wow! The gyro pita was amazing. Crisp fresh lettuce! The taziki was super tasty. The calamari was incredible and tasty. The baklava was comparable to a resto I ate in Crete last month! Super happy I took the plunge and ordered! Will be ordering more and more from here! Thank you for a great meal!!! SETON, Calgary AB

I had a wonderful first experience at Ryan Road Opa! From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcome. The staff member who helped me was incredibly friendly and attentive. I wanted to order a Mega platter but didn't want the bread or veggies. Instead of pushing me to order more, he suggested a kids' meal, which was a perfect fit. It's rare to find cashiers who truly care about value for money. I'm really happy with the food and the excellent service in such a nice environment. Highly recommend!

Counter at Metrotown Mall Food Court The order taker Simran is a pleasure to deal with! Very pleasant mannerism and clearly does her job well. Love the food and the service is great.🙂 Most people eat out for a pleasant experience and not just to fill their stomachs so an impressive employee like that is important.

Three of us went in for a late lunch (3:00ish), so we were good and hungry. We ordered the Mega platter and a rice bowl. It was More than enough!! And the lamb was so GOOD (extra fee). The service was excellent.
No atmosphere and uncomfortable chairs, but it is a fast food restaurant.
