We are new to the area, and we loved this place. Been here twice and both times we tried something different and all the food was great! Pair that with friendly staff that provide great service and you have a winning combo. Will be back again!

Wanted to try something different to feed the kids on a hot summer day. We got a couple kids burgers and classic burgers. Very disappointed in a place that is almost 5 stars, the meat is dry and tough. It's so bad the kids won't even eat it, and it was 65$.

Poutine was pretty good though, gravy isn't quite correct for true QC style, buts it's the closest I've had in BC for a while.

I've heard people talk about the burgers here, and not wanting to cook in this heat, I wanted to give this place a shot.

I have to say, it was great. The burger was seared just right and cooked to perfection in the middle, retaining its juices without being too greasy, and it had great flavor that complimented the other toppings. They even give you a moist wipe to deal with the mess, haha.

The fries were great, some of the tastiest I've had from a local place. My *only* complaint is that they were a little heavy handed on the salt.

Definitely would order from here again.

Honestly I’m a huge foodie. I grew up in a place with a lot of fantastic food options. This place is up there on my list. Inconspicuous - but hands down making some of the best food in the Comox Valley. Definitely worth a visit.

It's a food truck slinging good burgers and tacos. Fries are meh. I don't think they are fresh cut. They have a decent outdoor deck with tables, good seating on a dry warm day. The view is a parking lot full of Ram Trucks.

That was too good. I can’t find words because I’m currently in a food coma.

Kids burger was $8, it just had a plain bun and beef patty (it seemed store bought). I had to ask to add mayo. Self serve ketchup. The Phat burger left me feeling ill, sauce is very rich. 3 kids burgers and 2 adult burgers with 1 large fries was $70 including tip. Had to wait a half hour for the food, it was busy at the fairgrounds.

I will be back! I was on my way to a chain for lunch when my husband said, “Hey, there’s a food truck.” Decided to try the Phat Burger and it was delicious. Can’t wait to try those prawn & scallop tacos next time I’m in town.

Kid-friendliness: Hot dogs and burgers. My kid wanted a plain hot dog & fries. No bun, no condiments. And that’s what he got.
