Starving on my way to the ferry terminal, made it to this place just before it closed. The soup was great, and Lucy was very friendly. I’ll definitely be back on my next visit!
Small portions, bland food and $62 plus change for 3 dishes and 2 cans of pop. The service was good but we won’t be back.
Very good food I’m definitely going again
We all hear about hidden gems. Well we found one. Pho Maple Noodle is located at the end of an industrial strip mall in an awkward location near one of the busiest intersections of Courtenay. Cliffe & 29th. The place is small and not fancy but the food comes out made with love. We have only been there 3 times so far but every visit has been a 10. Keep this one a secret as the seating is limited. Thank you Pho Maple Noodle staff. Your efforts always make our day.
The food was not tasty!!!! Instead of Vietnamese cuisine we got rice with vegetables and pieces of strange meat. My stomach hurts a lot after this food. I hope I won't have to see a doctor. I don't recommend ordering anything from this bistro!!!
This has got to be one of the worst Vietnamese restaurants I’ve ever been too. Soups taste like water. Sizes are small with very little protein. Just a bland flavour for everything they serve. Will not be going back
Absolutely amazing food! Love the pho!
The Pho broth here is the stuff of legend, Pho Maple Noodle has no equivalent on the island. Stay in the Valley and eat here, to enjoy anything similar you'll have to travel long and wide only to realize that it's just as good at home.
Took the family out to try this place and was pleasantly surprised. The portions were large and the food was good. My kids love pho and vermicelli bowls so we’ve been to our share of Asian restaurants and this is one of the better ones. Great service as well. Definitely worth a try.
Awesome food, wonderful server, who gave some great suggestions! Thank you!

For my palette it was perfect. I can not stand heavily salted food. No msg I can tell. Perfectly cooked veggies and generous portions. Lots of dumplings in their work wonton.

My wife and I came in for supper. My wife had the Wor Wonton Soup and I had the Curried chicken broth on vermicelli bowl. Both were large servings and delicious. The food and service were excellent.

Trust me, I feel bad making this review but I feel compelled: the food was the blandest, most tasteless Vietnamese I've ever eaten in my entire life!l. Absolutely no flavor to the Pho broth. Besides having no aroma, I could tell simply by looking at it it was going to be tasteless. The lemongrass chicken: absolutely no lemongrass was used in this dish. None. Simply generic Fried Chicken breast on top of a bed of tasteless White vermicelli noodles. And then the garden rolls, well.. you wouldn't think an establishment specializing in Vietnamese cuisine would screw up the most popular go to signature appetizer, but they did, because it was basically simply playing vermicelli noodles wrapped with rice paper and a tiny bit of iceberg lettuce and some tasteless shrimp - not even sweetened prawns. My goodness, how does a restaurant's serve food with no flavor stay in business? Total waste of my hard earned money.
