INCREDIBLE gluten free food selection. Absolutely a must stop. It's a bit dangerous to turn around on the highway if you don't see the sign soon enough, so make sure to put it into your gps. I saw the sign for this place and had to turn around to come back. So glad I did. It's very small, so only one person at a time, but it was quite busy when I was there. Very good food!

On a Sunday, most of the bread is gone. I got the sesame and it was still so delicious. The raspberry rose rhubarb mini-pies were absolutely delectable. What a wonderful little place! Tip is to get there early on in the weekend to get more selection of sprouted and ancient breads

genuinely the best gluten free baked goods ive ever had. before realizing i was intolerant pastries and other bread related treats (idk what to call that) were my favorite kinds of treats and ive been super sad forever that i cant have them anymore but this genuinely fixed that. ive lowkey been gorging myself for the last day now im just super excited about everything i got. theyre so well made its hard to believe theyre completely gluten free. theres actual doughyness to the bread. i will so be coming back after every paycheck i love this place. only issue which isnt really an issue is the self service threw me off a little bit but nothing wrong with that.

Always my fav spot to stop travelling down island! Absolutely delicious, and gorgeous. Also a great excuse to take the old island highway.
Best cinnamon buns. I haven't had a decent baked good (due to gf and df) in over 7 years and this was 100% worth waiting that long. The bun was soft, not crumbly and no weird after taste. Even passed the husband taste test (who loves his regular baked goods). The lavender icing was incredible. I normally can't eat anything sweet due to sugar intolerance, but this was perfect, I don't feel sick after eating it. Love the whole setup, very Van Isle feel to it. Honor system for payment and obviously run by someone who loves what they do. Will be driving from Nanaimo when I'm crazing a delicious baked good. 12/10.

First time here. I was a bit taken aback by the self-service but not bad. I bought some tarts and it tasted good, but there were next to no fillings. I had 80 percent crust and 20 percent filling, while tasty I would not buy it again, but I will shop there again cause the other things I bought were delicious.
