I was visiting the city of courtwnay market festival and a cheeseburger was 3$!?!!

So I ordered two and wow the wait was so worth it. So simple and delicious and you can tell it was homemade and with love. It was like eating my parents home made patties. A family run business and a very cool place to visit and hang out im sure. The milkshakes looked delicious as well as the loaded hash! I will definitely come back when I visit the Comox valley again.

Great hidden gem, went for breakfast with my brother and it was fast and so delicious, reasonably priced too for great quality, I can't wait to go back their milkshake menu looks insane.

Their coffee is the worst I've ever tasted. I even complained and got another replaced but it was awful too. Maybe it was the cream I dont know. But I'll never go back.

What a great place to have lunch. The potato ham soup was delicious. The space is filled with movie memorabilia and it was interesting to hear the Brian discussing the progression of shark movies with a customer. The service was attentive and upbeat.

Popped in for a sandwich. The BLT and Mountain were very filling. Milkshakes were awesome. Definitely will return when back in Courtney. Service was friendly. Patio is cute.

I had the best time at James' Twisted Mint! The team is super friendly and full of humor, making the whole experience so much fun. My friend and I enjoyed our drinks, and the best part was when the server brought us free popcorn with a smile and just told us to enjoy—it was such a sweet touch!

I hadn’t been for a while, but once I came back to Courtenay, I knew I had to stop by this cute little spot. It’s perfect for chatting with friends in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.

One thing I regret is being too full before I came, so I couldn’t finish their famous milkshake. I’ll definitely be back next time to try it properly!

As I write this review I am sitting in the cafe. I totally recommend this place to eat. I had the Mountain Sandwich and my god that was good

Great little cafe. A real hidden gem. Keep up the great work

Best burger I’ve had in ages, wonderful people in a cozy little spot tucked away in the downtown core. Beats Big Wheel or Bin 4 any day of the week, check it out!

Oh my goodness gracious !!! This place... I have popped in for a drink here and there and it's always been fantastic with wonderful customer care, but today, we came in for food... I can't believe I've been missing out !!
The food was SO good and SO fresh. Just REAL FOOD!!
Massive portions, friendly prices (even during inflation)

But the best part, were the hosts- they are an amazing little family, with such great energy. So kind and so professional and attentive.

As a nerdy type, I really adored the decor. ✨✨ Huge Star wars fan, my daughter's name is Eisley ... mos Eisley ;)

We got the farmer’s waffle and an iced mocha. The portion of the farmer’s waffle is very generous and comes with a side of salsa and maple syrup. The salsa in particular is a nice touch, it’s a great palate cleanser between savory bites. Very reasonably priced. Also the whipped cream is delicious!

I stopped in for Chocolate Fest, they have a Hot Chocolate Float that was absolutely delicious!! The mix of hot and cold made it instantly drinkable and more decadent then I expected. High quality treat for a chocolate lover like myself.

Great family run business! They were exceptionally warm, welcoming.

I'm an idiot and took a blurry photo, regardless, food was gooood. It's simple but ain't nothing wrong with that. Chai latte was awsome, wrap was awsome, service was awsome. We got free cake and were checked on regularly even though we sat outside. The setup gave me hardcore nostalgia for how restaurants used to be... S+ tier hole in the wall restaurant 👍 Even after tipping I'm pretty sure both our meals and drinks were like under $40. I'm glad we came here on a whim and will definitely be returning!

I walked in just before they were closing today & they still made me a reuben & cappuccino, both of which are amazing. Love the kitschy vibe with Mr Bean, Chewbacca, references to aliens. It's one of the things that makes the place unique, not cookie-cutter. We've lost most places with owners who dare to show their personality, unfortunately. You can see this here, which I love. Love the back patio as well Wood, bricks, steel.

As someone who works in marketing, IT & graphic design, and a former restaurant owner, a place like this - with great food to boot - makes me happy.

Will definitely visit again. Thanks very much to the owners for the awesome reuben ??
