Great food! And my husband and I are very picky but we were so impressed by the food. I had the fish and chips with gravy on the side which is to die for.My husband had the bahn mi sandwich which he loved. Highly recommended and will definitely be back!

Great restaurant - Beyond wonderful experience! If you have the opportunity do the Chefs Table - it’s a must! The food we had was unique and absolutely delicious. I have had nothing comparable in Vancouver.
My husband and I haven't been back here for about a year. The server said the menu was new maybe 1 1/2 weeks new. I ordered the salmon - not overly impressed. Service was good. But no more than a out of 10 overall. My husband had the jambalaya. He said it was just okay. Maybe some more work on the menu.

Great little find on the river in Courtenay, nearly went past it, but luckily wheeled around. The borscht, and I know my polish soups, was spot-on. Bahn Mi was also well received. Great local beers and ciders. Well done.
We were looking for somewhere to accommodate eight people, and happened upon this wonderful restaurant. They were friendly, accommodating, and the food was homemade and excellent! Highly recommended!

Could not have been more friendly and accommodating. My partner and I went in for dinner this evening for our anniversary. We wanted a chill vibe with some nice beer and food. I talked to the owner (Rob I think) ahead of time to organize some flowers to be delivered for my partner, He even went as far as recommending a florist and offering to pick them up. On the evening our server Steve was friendly, well informed and efficient. He was brilliant. Would recommend this place and we will certainly be heading back before our winter season on the island is finished.

What a fantastic place for small groups to meet! Ate on the patio overlooking the river. The food choices were diverse and the preparation and presentation were very classy. Local craft brews available and the prices were not over-the-top. Frequented the establishment several times during a two-week long military training. If ever back in the area, I will most definitely return!
