Two of us had the weekly Burger special - teriyaki chicken burger & opted for the fries as the side. Our chicken was moist and good. I thought we would have had a bit more pineapple on it however the other person was fine with the amount they had. I was able to get malt vinegar as a choice for the fries as well as regular white vinegar. One of us had the salmon (fresh salmon) burger & fries. She said it was moist and tasted good. Two had house white wine and I had a spritzer with cranberry juice. And to top it all off we each had a 'special' coffee - decaf coffee with liquor and whip cream- sugared rim. The server was very good with making sure we had what we wanted and gave us time to look over the menu; not making us feel rushed.

A group of six adults met for dinner. Everyone enjoyed their meal, the service was good and we felt relaxed and comfortable. We would definitely consider returning for another evening together.

Well, I should have known!! we walked in for breakfast at 930am. on a Sunday, and we were the only people in the restaurant..The food wasn't what we expected for being Crown Island Golf restaurant. It was barely ok. The scrambled eggs were extremely overcooked, and the sausages and ham were also dry and way overcooked, we were really disappointed ? the service was good, though

Went out for a nice dressy dinner with a friend. Reservations put us at a table close to the fireplace. Service was good and the food was delicious. Would dine there again.

We had a delightful dinner with friends. The Prime Rib was excellent and our server Shay was charming and engaging. She was very helpful and her sense of humour was delightful. All in all; it was a great evening. The new chairs are much more comfortable.

Everything was amazing! Robert, our server, is top notch! We were celebrating a 50th Birthday and he made us all feel welcome and had that perfect amount of humor to keep us all laughing. We enjoyed our time so much that we went to where he works in the evening just to support him.

Order takeout, had to pick it up from reception. Had to wait 15 minutes for some jerk who cut in front of me to whine about his room only to get my food home (3 min drive) only to find it cold and soggy. The kid portion I ordered for $10 was more food than my $25 burger. RIP OFF. Black fin is way better and way more food and better quality for price.

Although it was mentioned to the waitress, one of the portions of fish and chips (snapper) was more than half dark grey inside and quite fishy in that portion. It was left on the plate but we never heard back as to whether the comment was forwarded. At $18 for 1/2 portion of fish...........not impressed
The menu is basically pub food, but the quality was really impressive! We had the stuffed Yorkies, the Yorkshires were perfect! The beef was also cooked to perfection, and a higher quality too in terms of beef cut!

The food has always been excellent at the Timber Room Golf Club on Crown Isle. Although, a new Menu would be greatly appreciated, as it hasn't changed in the last three years.

Would recommend as it is a pretty place and easy parking. Food was acceptable, nothing out standing, nothing glaringly poor. Recommend, depending on what my friends were looking for - food, ambience, service, convenience .. cost etc.

The ingredients were fresh, the food had flavor and the presentation enticed you to try the meal, which is lacking at many restaurants these days. I would highly recommend this place.

I made a reservation however there seemed to be some confusion. I was told that the table reserved for me was occupied. Another one was reserved for an hour+ later so we sat at a table that they finished clearing. Won't reserve again in the late afternoon.
