Fantastic ...a must. Krupnik is fantastic .. raspberry gin close second. Krista explained everything to us, showed us around and let us taste their fabulous flavourful products. Don't miss this!

Huge gratitude to the amazing folks at Wayward Distillery in Courtenay. I rolled into town low on battery with no Tesla Superchargers nearby, and they generously offered me a spot to charge up. It was a slow charge, but just enough to get me back to Vancouver — and honestly, it meant the world. This quiet act of generosity, opening their space to a stranger, is the very definition of paying it forward. It’s small, human moments like this that remind us how good people can be.

Thank you, Wayward — not just for the power, but for the kindness.

Accessible. Car-charging station. Clean. Friendly. Our group of 9 stopped in with no reservation, and we welcomed to taste any and all products at no charge. The Wayward Distillery mission in part, is to support honeybees. All products appear to feature honey as a flavourful or as a major constituent.

Loved it.. had a full tasting and walked away with a few bottles of our favorites. Some unique stuff for sure. Worth a stop if you're in town

Love all of the selections. Came in and Carmen Introduced us to both the gin and vodka selection. So hard to make a choice so we ended up going home with a few selections. So much worth the drive up island .

Whelp, made a special trip from Abbotsford to visit Wayward and pick up a bottle of Krupnik (or four) and ended up leaving with bottles of the rum / raspberry gin and coffee vodka. Definitely will be harassing shops in my neighborhood to stock some of their Gin?

Great folks, were very pleasant and pleased to see us. I applaud their initiative to help the bees - we need more businesses to support such a vital commodity. I also geeked out and they showed me their different stills that they use.

On a separate note: they do have two lvl 2 chargers there for your EV (Tesla + J1772) so don’t be afraid to swing by.

Great products and good people who stand up for what's right!

As other reviews have said, awesome delivery service. But more importantly, is the quality of the product I purchased (Depth Charge). Finally, a coffee & chocolate flavoured vodka, without overpowering sweetness. Love it! I highly recommend. Can't wait to try the raspberry gin, but that is a gift I am giving to someone so I must be patient! I'm sure it will be just as delicious! Also, I have to mention their customer service is STELLAR. Thank you, Wayward Distillery, for caring enough to make quality spirits for us to enjoy. Your dedication is evident and so appreciated. Buzz on!

Came to see this place all the way from Toronto based on buying one of their bottles at a Christmas market last year. It did not disappoint! The samples and friendly service were greatly appreciated. The variety of flavours are great and I appreciate the love for bees. You guys rock!

Dropped in to Wayward on a visit to the area. Love the place, loved the product. Hats off to you for following your passion, people who work and own the place, thanks for making this world just a little bit more colourful. The rum had an excellent liqueur-ish taste (presumable form the honey, and what must be a slightly unconventional distilling process). Full marks for your vodka, it was most excellent, loved it, just a slight unusual twist of something (if you didn't know, you wouldn't guess it was honey-based), very drinkable next to a lake, slightly chilled (not too cold). Put down your Smirnoff, and try this one, but don't mix it with anything. Keep doing exactly what you are doing, Wayward!
