Large portions, great service ! The restaurant seated our table of 9 around 30 minutes before they had closed for the eveving and even stayed late for us to finish our meal.
Everything on the menu was great, and the portions were huge ! I've never had a Spanakopita that was over an inch thick with filling.
Pretty expensive for what you get. The cheese on the Greek salad was more like cheap Parmesan, the pita bread was a cheap imitation. Tastes like most of the food is Shapiro.

What an amazing little 💎 in Courtenay,BC. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. The owner, Chris made it extra special for my partner who was celebrating an early birthday. This is by far the most delicious Greek restaurant I’ve tasted in a while. Would recommend it 💯 no hesitation, the food was on point and the ambience just right. Yiamas is a great place. The food was excellent. We ordered 2 delectable watermelon cocktails and 2 lamb burgers. The burgers were fantastic, the fires were perfect, the greek salad was very tasty. The service was very friendly and just perfectly on point and they even gave us a shooter as a treat at the end of the meal. Very good. I recommend this restaurant.

If I could give more stars I would! I took my parents there for supper & all of our meals were amazing. The servers were friendly & knowledgeable. We're definitely going back!
We enjoyed a delicious dinner, set in an appealing quaint restaurant. The servers were both very friendly, and they were hopping all evening. It was busy! The vegetarian moussaka was light and flavourful, and all the sides were plentiful and well seasoned. We will be back (and hopefully have room to eat dessert).

This is the family’s new, favourite place to eat.
The owner happened to wait on us. I described my first street-side souvlaki in Greece, when I was a backpacker. He accommodated my nostalgia and adjusted his normal souvlaki menu to give me a similar version. Delicious!!
The portions were huge, and – the best for last – the lime Margarita was enormous.
There is no cutting corners in this restaurant. The owner provides large, delicious portions at reasonable prices.
