Elected for Mr mikes instead of another chain restaurant on the street. Happy we did. The place was pretty full, but we were greeted and sat quickly. Clean booth and while busy, it was too loud. Our serve, Gabby, was friendly and very attentive. Answered all our questions and shared a couple of laughs. Drink refills arrived without having to ask… Food arrived hot and seemingly fresh. Everything was very good… we weren’t sure what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised. Would return to this establishment again

After a long day of driving, my wife, kids, and I stopped in at Mr. Mike’s in Cranbrook—and we’re so glad we did. Nara was our server, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for from the moment we sat down.
Even with our tired kids and road-weary moods, she kept things light and made sure everything was perfect. Drinks stayed full, food came out just right, and she went above and beyond to make our dinner feel like a well-earned break.
If her management is reading this—Nara is a standout and a real asset to your team. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re passing through Cranbrook!

We just drove from Edmonton to Cranbrook with a 4 and 6 year old and were very happy to finally sit down to a late dinner, almost past the kids bedtimes. In short, the service we received from Nara was the best we could have possibly received that we felt we had to leave a review. She welcomed us, recommended food and drinks that served us all, extremely knowledgeable about the menu and area, she was prompt and very friendly. I don't think our family had an experience so perfectly executed in our dining history, thank you Nara! Thank you Mr. Mikes Cranbrook - we will be back and will recommend you to all our family and friends

This review is based on a single visit to this particular restaurant and chain.
The staff is outstanding. They're friendly and extremely efficient. They attend to their customers closely and appear to have a team service approach.
The atmosphere is casual which is appealing. It's lively enough but not loud. Conversations take place amongst parties easily. It's enjoyable and relaxing.
The food is good. It's well prepared and served quickly. The portions were satisfying I wish I had other opportunities to try other menu items.
There is plenty of free parking at this location. There's a small lot in the front of the restaurant, a larger lot at the back.

Very rude and insulting staff. The food was really good until...The waiter went out of his way to talk politics and bash the USA and our president. Neither my husband or I even touched on politics in our interactions. Don't you know it's rude to bring up strong political opinions with strangers? He basically made us feel bad to be Americans, Republicans must be evil to him. Just keep it to yourself next time. Thinking of calling the manager.

We came here for lunch the other day. This has always been our splurge go-to family meal spot! That is changing! I am on an extremely limited food option list right now but I wasn't worried as there is one solid thing on the menu I know I could have. Everyone placed their orders and the food came. Everyone started eating. After a few bites that came to an immediate hault for me. The brushetta was cut so thick and it was so over baked and hard that it cut my gums when I took a bite. (I've been ordering this for last 2 years and this is not the usual standard) I let the server know I couldn't eat it. Showed where some of the blood remained on food while I had such bad pain on right hand side of mouth. She offered to have them remake but I told her if it was the same It would end up being wasted food as my mouth now hurt so bad I didn't want to even risk it. She grabbed a menue but seemed annoyed with trying to give options that they can change. I was trying to let her know its fine I can wait as those didn't work. Going to a stakehouse I know im very limited! She then gave option of soup. As I knew that would be soft I accepted that option. She said hold on as it may have something I couldn't have. Went and checked and confirmed it was a no go. By this time everyone else was finishing up the meals. I never blamed anyone for what had happened nor was I rude about it. However because I was too nervous and in too much pain to attempt the remake it seemed like I was just being difficult. After I brought up issue and declined the food I couldn't have, the waitress stopped giving the rest of the table even the bare minimum of service which was more upsetting. She didn't offer them refils after, didn't offer to go box (my child requested one though so it was brought out), didn't do the usual customer service small talk when paying our bill.
