Great service and food.
Had breakfast here, food was great but the coffee was horrible. Service was good. Prices were ok. Nice, new place.
It was too hot too cook so we decided to get takeout from Modern Olive and it did not disappoint. We got beef donairs with salad and they were excellent. The pita bread was delicious. Our food was ready in 15 minutes and the staff were friendly at pick up. I would recommend.

The Modern Olive offers uncommonly delicious food with great service. The restaurant has a cozy and happy atmosphere, perfect for trying out their amazing eggs benedict for brunch. The food is phenomenal, with standout dishes like the souvlaki bowl, baked hummus, Feta, and calamari, which has a delightful presentation. Portions are satisfying and fill you up, unlike other places where you feel bloated after finishing. While the beer options may be odd and limited, the service is excellent and quick to please. Prices are a bit high for the portion size, but the overall experience is worth it. The only downside noted was the music, which could be improved to enhance the atmosphere. Whether stopping in after a long day or staying at the hotel, The Modern Olive is a must-visit spot in Cranbrook.
