Sushi on the Strip Cranbrook

Best sushi in town! Susan is the best server and the Sushi Chef is amazing. Food is always fresh, quick and lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Hands down my favourite place to stop for a meal.

If the owner is reading this you need to change your staff ASAP.
No doubt your food is good, BUT STAFF, so today i went in to order food for takeout with my boyfriend, instead of asking us dine in/take out, she said “pickup”? I mean what? Is she just assuming by the color/face features that Indian people just do doordash,uber or whatever? and not to mention but her English was horrible, she didn’t understood one word and was still asking you here for pickup?
You need to do better !

My family and I were quite disappointed with our first dining experience at Sushi on the Strip. Upon arrival, we seated ourselves and waited nearly 10 minutes before the lone server on duty brought us menus. After placing our order, several dishes arrived promptly, but no utensils or plates were provided. As a result, the food sat untouched for several minutes while we waited, despite other tables, which hadn’t received food yet, being fully set.

When utensils and plates finally arrived, only one plate was brought for our party of three, requiring us to request additional settings, which by that point felt unnecessarily inconvenient. In total, we spent approximately $110, yet all of us left still hungry. For the same amount, we’ve enjoyed far more satisfying meals at other sushi restaurants in the area.

Regrettably, based on this experience, I would find it difficult to recommend Sushi on the Strip unless there are no other dining options available.

The atmosphere was very friendly, the servers were very nice and efficient, and all thr sushi was delicious

The sushi was very good. Very tender and tasty. The rolls were ok. The seaweed was quite chewy. Service was alright. All in all not bad but I’d stick to the sushi/nigiri. Has a good amount of parking out front.

I thought the bento box was the best I had in the Kootenays. The teriyaki chicken was hot and crispy almost like Korean fried chicken.

It was alright. Expensive, which is understandable as it's sushi in Cranbrook. Mediocre compared to the coast but much better than the other sushi restaurant in town. I'll go again if I'm desperate and feel like spending $100+ on Cranbrook sushi (2 people)

We had a good lunch here. The place was pretty quiet during our visit. Plenty of parking outside. Our server was super friendly and efficient. Food was good. I enjoyed the flavors. Good price too. Would definitely recommend.

Not the best in town, but close. Still very good with great service.

I have eaten here a few times. I really enjoy their yakiudon, but their ramen is just Mr. Noodles with a scrambled egg and a small amount of beef. They should remove the ramen from the menu, because serving Mr. Noodles is just embarrassing.

This place used to be very good. But they started using ground up fish paste instead if pieces of fish. It is absolutely disgusting and I feel like I'm eating baby food. They have permanently lost a customer starting today!

Had salmon and toro sashimi, crazy girl roll and sunomono salad. All very tasty. The sashimi was a nice size. The sunomono was the best I've had in awhile and the crazy girl roll was nice and crispy with a yummy sauce on top. Will definitely be back.
