Must try. One of my favourite restaurants in Creston. Presentation and food is always amazing.I wanted a burger today and at lunch all burgers are 15% off. I had a chicken burger and it was delicious and HUGE! My Mom can’t eat meat so she had a dish and subbed tofu and she enjoyed hers as well. The female server is awesome ??

A true diamond in the rough! After a long day of motorcycling from Calgary, we arrived in Creston and found Real Food Cafe was closed, so we were looking for other options and stumbled across Basasak. We could not have picked a better place for dinner!Basasak looks unassuming from the outside and you might miss it as it is tucked into a motel, but it is absolutely worth the stop.We had the Basasak Chicken, the Cheesy Snow Chicken, and rice. All was amazing, and the best fried chicken I’ve had in years. The cheesy snow chicken blew us away though — cheese isn’t something you’d expect to mix well with fried chicken, yet it was our favorite entree of the trip. The combination of flavors and texture were sublime. We paired the meal with mango soju which went perfectly.I’d highly recommend eating here and trying both the Basasak and Cheesy Snow chicken! The breakfast items looked great too, but unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to sample them.
This place is a hidden gem! My husband and I stopped there for a quick bite on our way through to Vancouver area and the food was PHENOMENAL! We ordered the 5 pc chicken meal (Basasak style-their sauce is unreal) with a Caesar salad and fries. HUGE portions, chicken was amazing and the salad was amazing as well! 10/10 recommend!
