Our booth seat was broken, the food was dry, to the point where the sauce left a weird texture on the yakisoba noodles instead of being an actual sauce. Service was slow, brought food out at staggered tines instead of meals all at the same time, and didn't offer sugar or milk for tea. The menu has downsized compared to previous years, with many options for kids being removed. Children were not offered cutlery or chopsticks, and staff must have assumed children eat with their hands. The staff did not inquire how everything was, but avoided making eye contact as we reluctantly paid for our poor quality meal. For obvious reasons, we did not take our unfinished meals to go, nor would we ever consider going back.
Conveniently located in a busy shopping area, with a great menu that offers both Korean and Japanese favourites. The bibimbap dishes (vegan and beef) come with Korean specialties. We appreciate the fact that preparation costs are very high for restaurants right now, but the dishes, which were takeout were very small compared to the bibimbap we have had elsewhere in BC. The restaurant is appealing, the menu is fantastic, but the meal was about half what it should be. The vegan needs to have more than just a little vegetables and a little rice. Hopefully the restaurant will fix this problem.
They need to be open more often!

I had a day to myself for some self care after a couple hard weeks so I decided to ride my bike from Idaho into Canada for lunch. I love sushi so I found Red Fin on maps and headed there. I was not disappointed. Great service, nice, clean quiet environment and the sushi was fantastic. Thabk you!

Red Fin sushi has recently undergone a change of ownership, and the changes are positive. The sushi is excellent. Not too much dressing, some modern choices like deep fried rolls, sashimi is never still frozen.Red Fin also now has ramen! Although you won't find curry or black garlic, their shoyu ramen and tonkatsu are really great.

First time coming in and it was amazing. I've heard nothing but good things about this place and I can finally say they are all true. they even wrapped my sushi the inside out way that I liked upon request. thank you so much.
