Ricky's All Day Grill - Creston

We ordered takeaway from Ricky’s today and were surprised by the portion sizes. The dinner-sized Caesar salad was about two cups of romaine and the $8.99 yam fries fit into the palm of my hand and were cold. We called to check if there had been a mistake but were told this was standard. To be fair, we were offered to speak with a manager but chose not to (too tired lol) so they didn’t have a chance to make it right. I’m giving 3 stars because my Cali salad was fresh, tasty and a good dinner size. Just a heads-up that some portions might be smaller than expected.

Awful. They were not prepared for the long weekend. While there were many dirty tables empty we waited 25 min to be seated. Hostess was rude. Waited another 25 min and realized we were probably forgotten so we left. Many others standing in line left after us as well.

Clean restaurant. Brief service, no questions, no offer of a high chair for the baby. Food was cold and the waffles had way too much vanilla. Chorizo sausage tastes like veggie burger. Probably not the place to be for breakfast.

Great service...good food

Ordered pickup, went to pick it up and was left waiting at the entrance. 2 servers saw me and didn't greet or approach me. After watching them hang out chatting for a few minutes I left and went elsewhere.

Unfriendly Hostess. When we asked for a table we were met with a very heavy loud sigh an eye roll and finger nails clicking on the counter. Not a welcoming experience. We were left for quite a while before anyone would even bring a menu or drinks. Everything was an inconvenience to them. I will say when we went for dinner the young man who served us was very pleasant and smiled. Great service from him but the others were very unfriendly and snarky. Shameful!

Our seating was prompt, but unfortunately, the waitress took an unusually long time to bring our drinks and was unhelpful during our food ordering. This isn't the first time we've experienced issues with this server, who seems indifferent and rarely engages with us. She often appears frustrated by even simple tasks. Everyone else that works at Rickie’s runs laps around her, heck a ten year old could if given the chance, wonder if I could ask for a different server next time? Lol.

Despite our disappointing encounters with this particular short blonde waitress, the delightful food and the attentiveness of other servers have kept us returning for years. It’s clean, open and always a great atmosphere. Thank you for the amazing service! (not you, blondie)

My wife and I stopped by Ricky's for lunch on Saturday. My wife ordered an omelet and I ordered the cheddar bacon burger. We were both very happy with our orders. The meals were provided in a timely fashion by a friendly professional waitress. Both our dishes were cooked to our liking and tasted excellent. We will definitely stop here again.
The atmosphere is average for a diner style restaurant. We did note that this establishment was exceptional clean.

Side note: Don't confuse Ricky's All Day Grill with Rick's Iron Kettle down the street. Rick's is a dirty place with very unfriendly staff with no professionalism.

Absolutely horrible service. Came into a nearly empty restaurant there were 2 other tables. Waited several mins to be seated by an older server, offered us to sit in the pub with minor children.
Waited for over 20 mins for the same server to get us drinks and then had to go find her to make an order. She was unpleasant and rude. Did not see her until the kids food was ready after I said we’d be ordering more for adults
I watched another server seat, get drinks, and take an order while our server was no were to be seen. Literally had to go find her to order.
Will not be back again !

Food could have been better, soup was awesome and service was awesome!

Love the Calafresco salad. It would be nice if your to go version was as big and beautiful as what you get in the restaurant. To go box not even half full of salad. For 22 $ this should be a lot bigger and full of fresh vegetables and feta. Pretty disappointing. Depends on the cook who is working whether you get your moneys worth or not. Seems to be hit and miss.

Amazing chicken tenders !!! Staff are super friendly and helpful. Favorite breakfast spot in Creston. Really great coffee which is so important !

Wow poor service is regular. They aren't very attentive. The servers just take off and you don't see them till they decide when you are to pay. Three times we went here and they didn't offer a second cup of coffee. Next time some other place.
