Laneway Coffee and Kitchen offers outstanding sandwiches with fresh buns, tasty combinations, and a lot of flavor. The lunch special, including the brisket sangie with peanuts, is a highlight. The coffee is great, with lighter roast single-origin beans making it the best in the Comox Valley. The cafe can get busy and loud at times, but it's worth visiting for unique and delicious food and drinks.
Sandwiches are the best in town of the non-burger variety, with the Beef brisket being insanely tasty. There are nice seasonal sandwich options as well, and a gluten-free bread option available for all sandwiches. The coffee is super tasty, with a bit of richness but not too acidic, and the drip is a favourite in the valley. The brekkie sandwich is unforgettable, and the cappuccino is excellent. Cute and clean, the cafe is small but not too busy, with fun latte art adding a special touch.
