I didn't know what to expect when I went there to have dinner. However I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding quality, service, and friendliness of the staff. The food was absolutely amazing and the descriptions of it didn't do it justice to how amazing it was. Would definitely love to go back again someday!

Tacos were eyes watering spicy.

Burger was ok but once again very few fries= 1/2 a potato.

Server never checked back with us once. Needed water had to go to bar myself to ask.

Not the worst place just disappointing.

Giving it a 3 cuz it’s on Haida Gwaii or it would have been lower on the mainland.

According to a line cook I talked to, this place closed last spring. Steller’s Jay is next door.

The place is now called the Stellar's Jay. The food was amazing for a really fair price, great views, delicious cocktails, and seasonal berry crumble! Great place to wait for the ferry and shoot some pool and fill your tummy!

This is not the Ocean View Pub anymore . I'm surprised it's still up on Google when I searched. Ocean Views menu looked great with lots of choices that helped make our decision on where to go. It's now called Stellers Jay Community Pub. Little to no information online with a small menu. Our food was ok, but the service was slow. Part of that might be because they are looking for help. I dont often leave negative reviews, but I figured I should, so nobody else gets misled like we did. That being said, I would still go back and give the new pub another shot.

Most definitely recommend this place for a place to dine in, workers are great and friendly, even when it was busy we didn't wait long. Most definitely will be back specifically to dine in here again. Some items were out but what we have tried has been great. Perogies didn't last long enough for a photo.

The chicken burger looked lovely, and the chicken was wonderfully crispy. Given the quantity of chicken, it would taste much more delicious with additional seasoning. Pickles would elevate the flavour as well.

Definitely one of the best places for food in the town, reliable menu, multiple good options.

The waitress tried her best & was great. Food took 1.5 hours and quite terrible.Definitely more of a place for drinking rather than eatting.I'd suggest maybe rotating a smaller menu to make it easier for the kitchen.

Friendly service, chill space with great views. We loved the high quality of ingredients and the size of our meals. But we found the chicken burger and burgers to be a bit bland. We love punch-in-the-mouth flavour, so we would have loved spicy options. Everything was hot and fresh though, and we would definitely return here again!

Went back for pizza last night but unfortunately it’s off the menu. I was disappointed and ordered chicken strips instead. The menu had me thinking they were made in house but these were definitely frozen. Bring back the pizzas!!
