This is more of a bistro then a coffee house.
Kitchen was closed so we were unable to try the food but the menu board looked promising.
Our coffee beverages were good. Took 15 minutes as there was a large order before us and only one employee attending the counter.
Originally came through for a beverage (was not sure what at the time usually its coffee, but ended up with a London Fog Tea). I noticed cinnamon buns… bought 1… sooo good! Bought the remaining in the pan for family back home! This has become one of my regular stops for drink, food and service when I pass through DC.
Overall really good. Went during lunch rush but staff were able to serve everyone in decent time. Food was decent!
10 years later and the froyo is still the best I've ever had

Cute little coffee shop, but I was very disappointed in my matcha latte. I ordered a small matcha latte with oat milk and honey for $6.50, and it wasn't that good. I am very disappointed to pay $6.50 for a poor matcha latte ?

It’s a good coffeeshop for specialty lattes and teas. the service is good and baristas are nice. One thing I sort of regret them doing is asking for the vaccine passport. I know it was a government mandatory measure and they were t eeuu ing to keep business afloat however it was wrong and discriminated against people who didn’t want something toxic in their bodies. Other coffee shops in town stayed opened and were sort of oblivious about it they supported the community.
Vegetarian options: Vegan soups for sure
Dietary restrictions: It is sort of gluten free bust have tons of sugar and dairy stuff

Absolutely love Hug a mug and the staff there. The food is amazing and it always smells so delicious the moment you walk in. I love their coffees and my kids are huge fans of the giant chocolate chip cookies. Alanda and team are wonderful ❤️
Excellent homemade soups and sandwiches. Bakes squares Coffee and Tea. Always stop for lunch every trip to Dawson Creek. Good prices and friendly staff.
