Meng Fan Restaurant in Dawson Creek is a gem for Chinese cuisine lovers. The dinner time buffet was delicious, with only one buffet item not enjoyed. The quality and taste is good, with very reasonable pricing for an all you can eat. Dumpling soup, chicken wings, and noodles are really good. The best Chinese eggroll ever, with homemade dough, and loved the Singapore fried rice noodles and vegetable chop suey. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere makes it great for both small dinners and larger gatherings. Great food on smorg, with very friendly staff who like to joke around. From the Chef's Special menu, seafood mix with vegetables, pan fried dumplings, and sizzling beef with black bean sauce were all excellent. The dishes were beautifully seasoned. However, some orders were missed, and service was puzzling with no serving spoons or plates provided. Don't forget to say hello to Norman the turtle when you come in the door.
