SCAM! we ordered 4 pounds of prawn from them. We arrived today at 12 to pick the prawn up. They told us to come back at 3. and when we came back at 3, they told us to come back at 6. the prawn was my family's dinner, how am i supposed to wait for that long. We tried to solve the problem with them, the workers had a poor attitude, and they refused to give us refund.

The seafood is great, especially the tuna loins and halibut cheeks -- and the staff are wonderfully kind and attentive.

On Saturday I picked up a 1Kg box of frozen Spot Prawns for $65.00. On Sunday I thawed them under cold water and snapped the heads off. They were a little mushy but I pan fried the tails anyway, in garlic butter and sat down to eat them. They were gross, not eatable and garbage. They were mostly mush. I don't know what kind of quality control your supplier had but it was worse then poor. It was not there. I've fished, crabbed and yes even prawned each summer for over 35 yrs. in Campbell River area. Your prawn supplier gave you "BC Live Spot Prawns & Seafood" a garbage product. I'd stop selling that suppliers Pawns. My nicely packaged box of prawns can't be an isolated box. It should NEVER have reached the market.

I ordered 10lbs BC frozen fish and planed to pickup exactly the time I booked, from the address listed on their website. This place is located residential area and nobody was there. Then I called them, the man said go pickup from Ladner Warf, but they don't have anything there, so they asked me to come back in other three or four days. When I said I can't come back and would like to get refund, but they don't respond anymore. What a scam, truly they don't refund if buyer missed the pickup, but they must refund if seller don't have the product, also their service & communication were so terrible. Don't waste your time, I would never buy anything from this seller again.

I am very pleased with the Sable fishes we purchased. We live in Kelowna and they went out of their way to deliver them to me. The package was well packed. We appreciate top-quality fishes very much!

I picked up 2lbs for $47 at the Ladner location yesterday (5000 Elliott street). There was no lineup and the prawns were huge and delicious!

We had sashimi, boiled and made tomato sauce pasta with the head and shells. All of them were great way to enjoy the prawns and price was most reasonable in Greater Vancouver.

Can’t wait to buy them again!

I came across an advertisement announcing that reservations for the annual spot prawn catch were now open, and I certainly couldn't pass up the opportunity, so I promptly ordered 3 pounds.

This morning, around 9:30 am, I went to the Fishermen's Wharf to pick them up. Wow! The size and freshness of the prawns were incredible and truly made the trip to the pier worthwhile.

At $25 per pound, it's a great deal for such a once-a-year treat. ??

This has been the worst place to order from. I ordered before Christmas 2023 and it is now March 2024. Paid in full and have not received my order. Try calling, emailing and using the chat on the website with out getting a single reply. I 100% would not recommend anyone order anything from this company. 300 dollar order and nothing in return. Fraud at its finest

I've made quite a few orders and have been very happy with the quality of the seafood! I even had a hiccup in the new year, and Darin was able to help out with the issue. What people need to understand, this is a mom-and-pop shop, so you need to adjust your expectations if things go wrong. Know that Darin and his team are there to help. I live in Toronto and recommend BC Live Spot Prawns all the time to friends.

This season we bought lots of crabs for our friends visiting from out of Canada. The crabs were fat & very fresh. Our friends said they were the best they’ve ever tasted. Darren was very accommodating with our pick up time and provide best customer service. He’s our go to guy for fresh seafood.
