Our association had Bread and Cheese do all of the catering for our annual conference this year and they were great! Adrian and his team were great to work with, they provided us with many menu options and price points and their food was outstanding. Highly recommend visiting their restaurant at Annacis Island or for larger catering engagements!

The burger was absolutely amazing—one of the best I’ve had in a long time! The flavors were incredible, and the quality was top-notch. I ordered takeout, and while the server left everything on the counter for me to pack myself, that’s a minor detail compared to how great the food was. Overall, an excellent experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

The Bread & Cheese Co. food truck was our midnight snack for our wedding last year and that was seriously one of our favourite parts of the night, so when we had to be on Annacis Island yesterday for other reasons, we knew we had to stop in at the eatery. I got a Cubano which was amazing, as I knew it would be, but the reason I'm writing this review is because IT WAS SOMEHOW BETTER THE NEXT DAY. I saved half of it, then reheated it in the toaster oven to get it nice and crispy again and holy hell. Incredible. The flavours had melded together overnight and somehow became more than what they were yesterday. I will be doing this again and you should too.

Took over 30 minutes for a chicken burger. Had to check to see if it was still being made. When it did finally come out it wasn't even warm. Never again.

This place is a hidden gem! I am attending the school (BCIT) just up the street, I love this place for a good bite to eat and some peace. The menu is a very fair price (affordable for a student as well), and everything tastes fresh and homemade. (Looking forward to getting through the whole menu). The staff are very friendly and genuine- a refreshing presence in a world that is usually so impersonal and fast paced.
If I was running a restaurant I'd want it to be just like Bread and Cheese!

Definitely a hidden gem 😋 Was visiting the area, so I dropped by for a quick lunch and ordered their breakfast burrito with coffee. Man, was it delicious! Might I mention, I was not even hungry to begin. But the first bite left my taste buds screaming for more, wondering how it could taste so good. They definitely don’t skimp out on portions or ingredients. The burrito was close to a foot long sub. It came wrapped in a whole-wheat tortilla, with a good amount of scrambled eggs, made peeerfectly, served with salsa. After my third and fourth bite, I wanted to know how they made this and what was used for the seasoning! It was that good! The order came quickly and you could tell it was made fresh. The coffee was also not bad. You get a choice of the to-go cup or a ceramic mug (which comes with free refills).
All-in-all, definitely recommend if you’re in the area.
P.S. Thank you to the chef inside! You have s magical touch to satisfying my belly :)
