I want to share an honest concern about this restaurant. While the food may taste fine, the way management treats its staff is troubling. Workers here—mostly foreign workers—are not being paid proper wages. They are reportedly not receiving minimum wage or tips, and management continues to hire only foreign staff for both the kitchen and front of house.
Please be aware that any tip you leave here does not go to the servers or the hardworking kitchen staff. The people preparing and serving your food are not benefiting from your generosity.
I strongly encourage the owners to start paying fair wages and tips to their staff, who work extremely hard every day. Until then, I would recommend customers not to leave tips here, since they don’t reach the workers.

We ordered food from your place many times and it was amazing so we decided to order again this weekend but we were all so disappointed. There was a huge light golden brown hair in the daal . We called on the number which is on your website 3 times but no one answered and no one called back. You've lost a regular costumer

Long wait for a ferry..hungry...food court? No! This place was amazing! We had a lamb curry (can't remember the name) and a dhal, both were perfect. Our server was amazing and the decor was cool and interesting. We will be back!

Clay Oven is a standout for authentic Indian dining. The menu offers a great balance of classic dishes and unique flavours, each prepared with care and perfectly spiced. Service is consistently friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is comfortable whether you’re dining in or ordering takeout. Their quality and attention to detail truly set them apart! Definitely a go-to restaurant in the area.

We came here for the first time the other day and were amazed by this restaurant! This is definitely the place to go if you are craving Indian food.
We ordered the veggie pakoras, lamb korma and mango milkshake. They were all outstanding and we particularly liked how the veggie pakoras were so fresh compared to other Indian restaurants. The quality of food was exceptional and it was extremely flavourful. I also enjoyed the mango milkshake--it was the perfect amount of sweetness and consistency.
Our server and I believe owner Harpo did a great job at recommending items to us as well. He was very attentive and shared stories of how some of the menu items came to be.
The restaurant was also very clean and the ambience was relaxing. We will be coming back!!

This place was an amazing find! The food was made with fresh ingredients, the flavours absolutely popped, and the perfect amounts of spices/oils/dairy were used to bring out the best in every dish.
This should be a weekly staple for locals and anyone who commutes close by.
