Awesome food, we've been coming to Connaught for about 20 years now. Lovely husband and wife team running it. One of our friends we introduced to this restaurant, an Indian food connoisseur, stated it to be the best she's ever had. Please support our local people.

Oh I so wanted this to be good. But I got three dishes and somehow there is *negative* flavor??? I’ve never had curry like this. All grease, no flavor whatsoever. Like none. I also worry a bit about the freshness! Never wasted $80 like this before.Update: I truly can’t get over how bad this is. Worst takeout ive ever had in my life. Like dirty dishwater. Wish I could get my money back as I’m trashing everything.

The mission of Connaught Place is simple: serve delicious, affordable food that guests will want to return to week after week. Mission accomplished.I live in Seattle, so I'm a couple of hours away. But if I could, I would return week after week, and perhaps even day after day. Because coming to Connaught Place is like coming home, even if I'm not Indian. After a long day of traveling from Salt Spring Island, we needed a quiet dinner to restore ourselves. I chose Connaught Place from the many positive reviews. We found the unassuming eatery tucked behind an office building and peered in the windows to see it empty. With trepidation, we approached the door just as a young woman was pulling up to pick up take out. I asked her how the food was and without hesitating, her face lit up and she said, "Oh my god, it's delicious! Plus, it's family owned and I love to support small business."Enough said. We slid into a booth and was greeted by the lovely Satbir. She helped us (Indian-food novices), decide what to order based on our input: samosas, naan and lamb korma. She could tell we needed a little pick-me-up and kindly brought us papadum (a crispy wafer-like bread) with mango chutney. The samosas were hot and tasty, however, the star of the table was the lamb korma. With generous chunks of tender lamb in a rich and creamy sauce, it was the stuff my dreams are made of. Accompanied by a hearty serving of rice, it was plenty for my husband and me. Even after we were satisfied, we kept on heaping food on our plate because we didn't want to miss out on one more bite. While chatting with Satbir, we mentioned that it was our anniversary and she surprised us with scoops of mango ice cream! Just the thing to top off a memorable meal. We were definitely happy diners.Throughout the evening, many people came and went from Connaught Place to pick up their to-go orders. But I suggest dining in the relaxing space because not only is the food superb, but Satbir is a delight, and an integral part of a wonderful experience. Oh, and you might want to order more than one main dish because you'll definitely want leftovers.

Worst Indian food. Uncooked naan! And no matter what you order it’s the same thing just a tweak of different frozen sauce. I went there I was told it was Punjabi and I did confirm with the owner. I would say avoid this place or at least verify yr food. It was $60 waste and so the food ! Pleas don’t do this, the owner !

We do a anonymous taste test every New Year's Eve and Connaught P consistently wins every year against anyone else from the Lower Mainland...it's a hidden gem

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner there. They could freshen up the dining room a bit with new upholstery but it doesn't take away the taste of this little gem in Tsawwassen. Ordered a lamb vindaloo which was absolutely delicious. Coupled with their naan, the spices were just perfect. Was going to order the Gao Fish but found it was Basa so we skipped it. Ordered the Tandoori Salmon instead and it wasn't worth it but delicious. Overall was good. Will have to come again.
