I'm putting this review on behalf of my sister. She had a reached out to a few bakeries in the Delta area to bake some pastries for the non profit she worked at in the DTES as part of a lunch for the residents. The owner for Delish Cakes & Pasteries responded promptly and got the orders ready right on time! We went to pick it up and were absolutely floored with the amount of amazing food the owner had made and gotten ready. The owner certainly went above and beyond of what was requested. My sister informed me that the residents loved the food. Thank you Delish for doing this, truly appreciate it. :)

Delish has the nicest workers I've ever seen. I went in there and I ordered a pastry for I'm pretty sure it was 5 dollars but I only had a fifty and they said they didn't have change for that so they gave me it for free and there always incredibly friendly to whoever comes in. I'm not a huge fan of bakery food though so that's why I'm not giving them 5 stars but please go to this restaurant just to support it it doesn't make a lot of money so it would really help them 4.8 stars

Went in today and bought 4 cupcakes . They looked good but we're extremely dry and tasted stale . I think they must have been a few days old.

My first time ordered cake at Delish Cake place for my daughter's 30th birthday and I'm so in love with this bakery. The owner was super nice and now she has me as her life time customer. The cake I picked was coconut and pineapple flavor with butter cream.I'm thinking of just ordering again to enjoy with my tea.

I am super disappointed with this bakery. I ordered cupcakes and chocolate mousse over Uber Eats and was looking forward to it. When I ate the cupcake it was so dry and tasted like it was a few days old. The chocolate mousse was pretty much frozen and I could barely chew through it - it tasted like ice and not chocolate whatsoever. I would not recommend this bakery. There are many other bakeries out there who have a priority of selling FRESH goods daily. If only they did a discount or something on older treats and guests were aware that these were not fresh goods then I would understand. I do not understand why they charge so much when the quality and price do not match. Please order elsewhere and avoid the disappointment.

Great service and finger licking delicious cakes. We tried the usual cupcakes and pop cakes before, but the custom to order cake was the best. I ordered the Grand Marnier flavour, this three layered cake was to die for.There is never a hesitation on any design that we give this store. They have always assisted in making our events more meaningful with the cakes our kids desired.The best inside cake flavour by far is vanilla cake with custard filling. YUM!

I’ve only tried the cupcakes so my review is solely based on that: visually the cupcakes are nice. Broken down to each component, the cake itself is quite dry and dense, lacking moisture and fluffiness, and the frosting was more buttery than creamy. We got four different flavours and each cupcake tasted old, stale, and dry; they also tasted of ‘fridge’ if that makes sense. I do not recommend purchasing cupcakes from here — not worth $3.00 per cupcake by a long-shot!

I loved their cake so much!! Other day, my boyfriend surprised me for my birthday with a cake from my favorite movie. The cake was very tasty. Tall and moist, and he got cream cheese icing inside the layer of cake instead with a chocolate cake. It looked just like a wood log, he put on a topper after. Even the little flowers are edible, just have to take out the wires that hold it inside. Looks just like a mini garden and tasted great. I didnt get to go the shop but he said inside they have lots of other pastries and a table, chairs and we can buy coffee there too. I will go soon to see myself!

Delish made the most beautiful (and delicious) cake for our son's birthday, and we couldn't be more pleased! The owners were so friendly and accommodating, and the cake was seriously delicious. And this is coming from someone who doesn't even really like cake! The cake was so dense and flavourful, and the topping was quality (not that gross edible oil stuff you get in lower-quality cakes). It was just the right amount of sweetness, and it was very reasonably priced too. I'm a happy customer!
