I visited Delta Bakery yesterday, and the atmosphere and service were absolutely mind-blowing. The Apple fritters are top-notch—I’m already addicted to them! The apple filling has incredible flavor and is perfectly balanced. I also placed orders for a birthday cake and Christmas gingerbread.
This place is a must-try and truly a hidden gem in the city. Highly recommended!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely phenomenal bread! A must-try.
I recently visited Delta Bakery and decided to try two of their staples: the focaccia and a loaf of their sourdough bread. I was blown away by the quality of both.
Focaccia Bread:
This was a standout for me. The focaccia had a perfectly crisp, golden crust that gave way to an interior that was incredibly light, airy, and moist. It was generously topped with [e.g., fresh rosemary and coarse sea salt / cherry tomatoes and olives / caramelized onions], which created a fantastic burst of flavor in every bite. The olive oil base was rich and fragrant without being greasy. I enjoyed it on its own and it was also fantastic for dipping in olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It truly tasted like a focaccia you'd find in a genuine Italian bakery.
Sourdough Bread:
The sourdough lived up to its reputation. The crust was shatteringly crisp with a beautiful, dark bake, while the crumb was soft, chewy, and full of holes. The sourness was perfectly balanced—it had a distinct, tangy kick without being overpowering. It made for incredible toast with butter and was sturdy enough for a hearty sandwich without falling apart. You can really taste the care and time that went into the fermentation process.
Overall Experience:
Both breads were clearly fresh, expertly baked, and used high-quality ingredients. Whether you're a bread connoisseur or just someone who appreciates a good loaf, Delta Bakery will not disappoint. I will absolutely be back to try more of their varieties, especially their sourdough and cookies I've heard so much about!
Highly recommend both the focaccia and the sourdough. You can't go wrong!

I've been a customer and fan of the Delta Bakery for many, many years but those days are over.
The new owners have ruined this once great place.
The perfect fritters and amazing Copenhagens no longer exist, they've been replaced with much cheaper poorer quality versions fried in old gross oil.
To add insult to injury, the new owners argue in their replies to these Google reviews with the people that have been coming here and buying these items for over 50 years, scroll through and have a read for yourself.
We know what these things should taste like, you do not.
It's sad to see the downfall of the previous owners lifetime of dedication to quality reduced to a shell of it's former self.
I will never return as long as the current owners remain, I doubt they'll last long given their attitude and lack of quality products.
RIP to the greatest bakery that once was💔

They supplied 3 different anniversary cakes for our celebrations and people raved about how delicious each cake was; we had mocha, lemon and carrot cakes. I also sampled their apple fritters, copenhagens and date squares; all equally impressive. We will be using them for our church's anniversary later this year.

New owners seem to have changed the fritters. They now taste like burnt oil. Maybe they went to lower quality ingredients. Not as good as they used to be. The previous European baker took the taste with him.

Nice mixture of old favorites and new products. The neopolitains are excellent as are the sausage rolls and samosas.

Friendly service but for the first time in 30 years I was disappointed by the quality. I'm hopeful to see improvement. The memories of past Copenhagens, strudels and apple fritters remain dear to my heart.

Friendly staff. I asked if they can warm the croissant I purchased and they just put it in the microwave instead of quickly putting it into the oven which ruins the integrity of the pastry. Most bakery I have been to would never microwave a crossiant.
New ownership is obvious. The bakery is not what it used to be. The last 3 times I’ve gone and had an Apple fritter, there are no apples in it or one tiny piece in the whole fritter. Today it was so greasy I couldn’t even eat it and again… no apples. Apples aren’t expensive guys… if you’re not going to buy apples, don’t make apple fritters.
