I’ve ordered from this Domino’s many times, but lately the experience has gone downhill. Delivery times are getting longer and longer, and the pizzas are no longer arriving hot, just lukewarm at best.
What’s especially frustrating is that the tracker on the website tells a pretty clear story. The prep time has noticeably increased, the bake time appears normal, but the “quality check” stage is unusually long. It strongly suggests that completed orders are being held back. On my most recent delivery, once the driver finally left the restaurant and tracking went live, they drove away from my house and completed another delivery before coming to me. That confirmed my suspicion.
I understand the logic of making multiple deliveries on a single route, but it makes no sense to hold finished orders and let food cool while other pizzas are still baking. The result is food that arrives well below the temperature it should be.
I initially thought this was a one-off issue, but now that it has happened more than once, it seems to be standard practice at this location. Unfortunately, that means the quality suffers. If I’m paying for delivery, I expect hot food, not pizza that’s been sitting around waiting to be bundled with another order.
This experience definitely makes me think twice about ordering from this Domino’s again unless the delivery process improves.

Decent pizzas, decent prices, quick and generally agreeable. But….. if they mess up your order they’d rather argue and tell you that you’re wrong and they don’t make mistakes instead of just remaking the pizza.

I think the quality of pizza had significantly improved recently. The dough had a nice bouncy texture. Toppings were aplenty and delicious. Many of the coupon codes work in this location as well.

So, they offer this promo for a free emergency pizza. What a joke, it just loops you around and never lets you order the actual pizza. Good thing it wasn't an emergency or you would starve. What a rip off, you just lost my business....

I tried to order on-line but my coupon wasn’t accepted, so I resorted to telephone and when I went to pick up I had inadvertently selected wrong location. The staff at Ladner were able to correct and made a fresh pizza for me to carry out. The Assistant Manager was helpful, courteous and professional. I was very impressed by the staff and I received a hot pizza.
