Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria - Ladner

Neapolitan pizza toppings but not on Neapolitan crust. The cheese was cheaper but a lot of it. It was more the style of pizza hut. They seal the box with a sticker so you can’t inspect your pizza before you pay. My fault for not insisting but I was in a rush. Crust was overdone. I think they tried to cook it like Neapolitan pizza but I found it doesn’t work with regular dough. It be okay if you like American style pizza and want to try something different but I was looking specifically for Neapolitan style pizza and this didn’t agree with my stomach.

Good pizza but horrible service. Five of us went for my son’s birthday. He chose Famoso’s because they have good vegan pizza. We ordered 3 large pizzas and after they arrived we were told they have a promotion where we would get an additional free pizza. We said great and that we would also have it with vegan cheese. They said no, they’d already made it (!) despite having just taken our order and us making it abundantly clear that we needed no dairy on our pizzas. We offered to pay extra for the vegan cheese for this ‘free’ pizza. We told them that it would make no sense to bring a pizza over with dairy cheese when we had made it clear that we were vegan (dairy-free). Horrible service. Rude, dismissive and despite their sign out front promoting a free pizza with the purchase of a (one) pizza, they did not even attempt to honour this.

Just terrible. I have been a customer since Edmonton. It’s my favourite pizza place and I’ve often ordered easily from the road. I called 2:18pm and again at 2:35pm because our call was dropped and I wanted to confirm they’d have my order ready by 430pm. I stressed just how important it was to have ready by 430. When I arrived at 4:35pm they hadn’t even started it. I could see the dough sitting on the table. I asked that they put it in right away. They quoted me 5-10 minutes. The dragged their heels snd shrugged their shoulders. The pizzas didn’t even go into the oven until 4:51pm. We didn’t get it til 5pm. I was told the day staff didn’t tell them. Like that was my fault. I had to ask them three times to put it in. There were two other couples eating in the restaurant and 2 staff. I have never had a worst restaurant experience in all my life. In fact I’ve never had a worse customer service experience. I’m not the type who complains but this is ridiculous.

Was served an undercooked and burned pizza. Was the. Left at the table just waiting for a solution. The solution was to just give me the bill for my food. Terrible service to go with terrible food. Eat anywhere else.

We have ordered here many times because our kids like the pizza but I find it way overpriced unless they have a promotion. We just ordered 3 pizzas on uber, because there was a promotion, and the restaurant cancelled our order. On the Tuesday after Thanksgiving so it wasn't because they were busy. Thats ok we will never bother again.

Felt like trying new pizza and decided to come here. Ordered a Margherita pizza. The pizza was very unevenly cooked, some parts of it undercooked and others overcooked. It was also incredibly soggy towards the center. The sauce was very bland, little to no taste. The cheese felt low quality and slid off the pizza. Service wasn’t bad, but it seemed like staff was all new or just sort of negligent. Would not recommend, you might as well go to freshslice in the same plaza and have much better pizza at a better price point.

Paneer Pizza was PATHETIC. Not cooked in the middle. Burnt on edges. They dropped the chili oil in the packaging. Very Disappointed. Thank you.

First time I had the famous Famoso Pizza and I absolutely loved it. I love the doughy yet thin crust and the chunky tomato sauce. Unlike Freshslice or Pizza Hut, I could see and taste each topping which were good. The Capriciosa was excellent with prosciutto, Kalamata olives, artichokes, basil and real mozzarella cheese. This was very well made and scrumptious! Too bad Famoso operates inside Ricky's in Ladner because it is a premium Pizza brand inside a truck stop. The service was ok, waiter wasn't attentive and didn't offer any water refills or dessert. Next time, I'm ordering a takeout.

Should change Google times as just called at 830pm and was told closed but online says closed at 9pm.

Terrible service and horrible food.If you are looking for a ‘ fun family pizza nite place ‘ this is not it. To wait 15 just to order drinks and noo refills not even water. For a minor to be serving .. and a resturant that has only ‘bottles’ of beverages.The food was either over cooked or undercooked . Sorry I wish I took a picture to share but, never thought it could go bad to worse.The serving staff was more interested in chatting with the rest of staff than doing what she is there to do.( serve) ( perhaps this is not the job for you) .And kitchen staff you cannot dump dry Oregano over a salad and think this is acceptable to eat.All in all a big F . Ladner community deserves better than this .Time to throw in the towel . If this could not make it as a Rickey’s and Famoso was your life line …. Well you are done .

The worst pizza and service ! Totally burnt on both sides could not eat it and they still excepted my payment..
