It would seem they had excess sauce when we went for dinner. The ravioli and carbonara were doused in huge amounts of sauce and salt. The panzanella salad was so over dressed, it was swimming. Im unsure why this rates so high, maybe there isn't much else around. It's not the worse, but its not that hood either.

The best local restaurant for Italian food. Both the pizzas and pastas are delicious. They offer a Happy Hour menu with some great deals. It can get busy so making a reservation can be helpful, particularly if coming with a larger group.

We reserved a group of 15 for my mom and dad’s birthday. Emailed the restaurant and corresponded with Julie. She provided two options, which were family style servings. Our server, Tayler, was exceptional, very professional and very patient dealing with a large group. Food was brought out in courses and it was fantastic. The meatballs were a fan favorite.
The overall experience was fantastic. The entire staff were exceptionally friendly, food was fantastic and abundant. No one left still hungry.

Love coming here! The staff are wonderful and so is the food. We love how family friendly it is too. My husband goes between the chicken parm and brooklyn pizza, I get the special pasta or pizza (always excellent), whatever is on, and the kids get cheese with white sauce and cheese with tomato sauce! So lucky to have a great local restaurant like Il Posto.

Il Posto catered the food for our backyard wedding, and we could not have been happier! Everything was absolutely delicious – the pizza was a huge hit with all of our guests, and the mac and cheese had everyone going back for seconds. Julie and her team made the whole process so easy from start to finish, and on the day of, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We’re still hearing from friends and family about how amazing the food was. Thank you, Il Posto, for helping make our wedding day so special!
The pizza 🍕 was very tasty and had the crispiest crust.
And when the hearty lasagna came out, my foodie partner had finished his pasta already.
Service was standard and glad we made a reservation as we came during a weekday dinner and there were people waiting in line already.

I have always loved dining at Il Post but today, as delicious as the food was and as great as the service was, I, along with a friend was shocked at the extremely small portions. You could have fit my pasta into the palm of my hand. It could have been a starter at half the price. I was very disappointed.

This was both of our first time at Il Posto, we’ve heard some great things so we had to try for ourselves. We were served by Taylor, she was very pleasant and helpful when it came to the menu and decisions, I was unsure what to try and she pointed me in the right direction which lead to a meatball appetizer followed by chicken Parmesan with a side of rigatoni alfredo. My partner got the butcher block pizza which looked great. I got myself a nice glass of pino noir to start and finished off with an espresso martini. For dessert we shared a creme brule, cheesecake, and a ganache cake. Overall we give a thumbs up, thanks again Taylor for putting up with us! Will request again
