The service at this restaurant was excellent. The staff was polite and attentive, going above and beyond to provide a wonderful eating experience. The was delicious! Great value for money! The portions were generous and the taste is exceptional. We definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends and family back in Kelowna BC , if they ever visit in Surrey BC.

Every restaurant has it's bad days, which I understand from the negative reviews of this place. But I've tried many Filipino restaurants in Surrey and Delta, and La Meza Grill always hits the spot. The food is authentic and delicious. Like every restaurant, they have dishes they really excel at and some not so much.
Must try - pork bbq, and chicken bbq. Goes great with garlic rice of course. Halo halo and ginataang bilo bilo too.
Staff are friendly and attentive and overall vibe of the place is like eating out back in Manila. This place feels like home.
Food are great. Ordering system are not good. We already finish our food except for Ensaladang Talong (ET) that we are waiting. We try to cancel the order but they want us to wait for 30 minutes. We are forced to take it home since we already finished our food. The staff (tall lady) need to be train on how to deal politely the customer.

La Meza Grill has been one of my fave go to restaurants in Surrey but since our last visit, it seems like the chef made changes on how they make their meal/ingredients? Somehow, their Kare Kare did not taste peanuty enough, it was really bland and very watery. It’s supposed to have a creamy sauce and not soupy. The sisig is still ok but again, missing a bit of flavor. Hopefully they fix this or hopefully just a one off experience. I like the ambience here and quick and friendly service tho. Kare kare could’ve been better with the sauce especially that they put a lot of bagnet (pork belly) in it, could’ve been perfect. We had some left over and I recooked it at home, fixed the sauce. Lol

The best fililpino resto i've tried in BC! The servers were the nicest! Right next to the resto is a complete filipino sari-sari store.
