Maguro used to be great. It's gone down hill over the years. My kid got sick after eating there last week. Service has gotten pretty bad.

It was good, not great. Waited at least 10 - 15 mins between getting everything we ordered.Rolls for my wife came , waited 10 mins , Tempura came, waited another 10 mins ( possibly longer ) my main course arrived.Waitress was attentive and kept topping up our teas , excused the long wait for our food, and explained they were "very busy."In all, as mentioned, it was good, but I'll not be in a rush to go back.

This was our go to restaurant in ladner for almost 7 years. New owners have no idea how to make sushi. Hot food is still okay but i dont go to a japanese restaurant for cooked food! And way, way more expensive than it used to be... more than what other restaurants have raised their prices by.
This place has amazing food and lovely staff! Always a great experience!

Unfortunately food drenched in what tasted like bottled teriyaki sauce. I had the chicken teriyaki bento box and chicken deep fried and topped with this yucky thick sauce, gyoza also deep fried and crunchy. Spinach’s gomae also soaked in soy sauce. There was wasabi and ginger with steamed rice and shouldn’t have been included. The menu items were Korean, so Korean bent and known for being sweet. Will stick with authentic Japanese eg. Edoko restaurant in Richmond which is no comparison for people in the know. Stomach aching after this lunch.
