Our server Rod was great, not only was he polite and friendly but he made us laugh with his humour which really adds to a dinner night out. He made his suggestions/opinions with the menu and insisted on trying the “Frankie’s southern crispy chicken” sandwich which was amazing, I’ll definitely order it again. The rest of the table had a half BBQ chicken and gourmet vegetarian pizza which they both enjoyed, will definitely request for rod next time we visit. Thanks

Had the loveliest meal with my entire family this evening at Mario's. Rod, our server could not have been more kind, attentive and responsive. The pasta, pizza and salads were incredible and the wine selection fantastic. Thank you Rod for making our visit to the coast so special. We truly appreciate the extra effort ❤️

This was our first time here. We loved the decor & atmosphere. The food: chorizo meatballs to start, baked lasagna for me & cajun chicken pasta for my husband was excellent ( I forgot to take pictures I was so hungry!). Our server Rod was just fantastic & just made the overall experience awesome. We'll definitely be back to try a pizza next time!

Great locally run restaurant with excellent food and great service. Our server Rod ran service like clockwork while making us feel very welcome. He added a couple of unexpected touches which really made a difference. It was also interesting to see the whole service team work together to make sure every customer had a great experience. Highly recommend.

Their menu offers an impressive selection that caters beautifully to celiac dietary needs without sacrificing flavour or variety. It’s refreshing to find a restaurant that takes gluten-free seriously while ensuring the dishes remain creative and delicious. Their menu however, isn't vegan friendly, but you can order from their sister restaurant next door and have the food delivered to your table at Mario's (reason I deducted 1 star)
The quality of the food is outstanding, with generous portions and impeccable attention to detail. From their gluten-free pizzas to pasta dishes and even decadent desserts, every bite is packed with flavour and made with care. It's clear that Mario's Kitchen is committed to providing options for everyone, and they excel at it. Did I mention the daily specials?....like a full rack of rib for the price of half on Sundays!

Got the pizza and it was very greasy, more greasy than a Pizza Hut pizza. It weighed about 2 kg. I've never had a pizza that heavy.

Service was lacking. Made a reservation in person, in advance because one in our party is in a tilt wheelchair. Was assured the chairs would be moved out of the back hallway by the bathrooms ( wheelchair users can’t enter the front door since the restaurants have blocked off the sidewalk with planters). Needless to say the chairs weren’t moved leaving about 1” clearance for the wheelchair (that was fun!). Wait staff never followed up after the food was served and we had to hunt them down even to get the bill. Chairs still in the hallway on the way out.
If you are using a wheelchair avoid this restaurant as they don’t seem to want to welcome wheelchair users. Maybe should only order takeout, the fries alone are worth it, ask for them extra crispy!!
