My Original Danish Pastry Baker

Love it…it’s so cosy or as We say in Denmark Det er hyggeligt…this bakery is like a small piece of Denmark…we was travelling from Victoria, Vancouver island and its was really worse the trip and it’s not our last time to visit this lovely bakery…love the Danish black bread and there lovely pastries and the food and friendly service just make it even better……if you haven’t visit yet then you should go there as soon as possible…once again. Thank you looking forward to be back.

Friendly beautiful people that own and run this business. Happy for the new location and I am so pleased to share the decidant pastry and breads from a Danish bakery that is authentic from my own Danish Heritage. Totally awesome to see they offer open faced sandwiches and change there items according to the season.

As a Dane, I can confirm that this is the most authentic Danish pastry store in all of Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. They used to run one in Denmark for decades. It’s family run and this is our go to.

The loaf of rye bread my son bought, at the Original Danish Pastry bakery, is what our family has long been searching for in the lower mainland after spending many vacations in Denmark. It is absolutely so delicious it practically melts in your mouth. I made an open-face sandwich and it was stupendous. My son also thought the staff were very welcoming. So I will drive from Vancouver to this bakery and splurge!

I purchased the sour dough bread as well as a seeded bread today with pumpkin seeds on top, both were fantastic toasted with butter! The Copenhagens were super delicious, as well as the various danishes and sausage rolls!! There was a line up literally out the door with this beautiful weather today! A great spot to grab a coffee and Danish for $6 and meet your friends to chat and visit! The prices are very fair for the quality and the coffee is brewed each order, it went very nice with the yummy treats we bought to sample...
Great service, lots to choose from and some tables to sit with friends. (There is also a customer washroom if anyone is wondering )

This amazing local authentic Danish bakery is truly such a gem! I rarely write these reviews, but it’s a family owned business and Lisa was super approachable when I asked about bulk customer orders. Always on time, literally everywhere I have brought these to have absolutely ADORED them. Super dependable. Delish. I can pick up before opening. A great addition to our Tsawwassen community! Thank you so much!!!!
