We always enjoyed the food here. Always fresh and well prepared. The cooks always do a fantastic job.
Unfortunately………. We cannot say the same for the two young servers the other night. When we’re spending over a hundred dollars on a bill, instead of just flopping down the tea pot and cups immediately walking away not even bother to fill them up and not able to ask a question. After receiving the food not once did they stop by to ask how are things, can I get you anything else…… etc etc…. Was really a huge turn off.
Perhaps a smile once in a while instead of having the attitude of not wanting to serve the customers.
One note I couldn’t “not” say anything about is one of the young servers sneezed out loud and not even covering her mouth other right where the cooks put up the food.
This type of service is inexcusable. A HUGE disappointment.
That will be our last visit there. We’ll go to the one in White Rock. MUCH more courtesy and better service .

Entitlement , I gave $10. tip on a $65 bill , the waitress seemed upset , the body language and vibe was its not enough. The tip should be a representation of service. Plus the portion sizes are a bit vulgar. If I wanted a steak ....I wouldn't expect a cow, thanks for reading .

January 2025 - Good food that was nicely presented. Prices are fair. Unfortunately, not the most attentive server. Never asked if everything was fine. Never refilled my water.
August 2025 - Food again was very good and the service was inattentive again.

Sounds like we just got unlucky based on other reviews, but our experience was pretty miserable. The Miso ramen was very bland with giant rubbery noodles and the California Rolls didn’t taste fresh. Gyoza was decent enough, but we left hungry. Servers were too busy tending other tables and seating other people to really check in on us. They were very clearly under staffed and very busy, which probably contributed to the lack of quality we experienced.
Amazing sushi and fast service.

My kids love dining at Sapporo! The service is great with kids and they love the treasure box prize at the end of their meal!

Such a great place for kids. They have books, special plates and chopsticks and a treasure chest full of toys that kids can choose from at the end! The staff are always so nice and the food is tasty.

Made a reservation for a birthday dinner. We arrived, were seated, and then completely abandoned for 30minutes. Tried to flag down someone anyone to take our order and was met with pouty faces like we were an inconvenience. This is now three times with poor experiences and we just cannot return anymore. Disappointed because this was one of our fave spots in south Delta.

One of my favourite places to go in all of South Delta. The food is always incredible and the staff is friendly.

Love Sapporo. They’re always so consistent, tasty and my kids are obsessed with their adagashi tofu! Weekly staple for us

Small, nice restaurant. We were there during the lunch rush so service was a bit slow but they were super welcoming and helpful where they could be.
Food was fresh. No fishy taste off any of the raw fish.

Sapporo sushi used to be incredible, now it's just good. There has been a marked decline in quality lately. Not sure if there are new owners or what. The service used to be great and now its awful at times. The last two or three times I've gone to pick up there are several servers around but they pretty much ignored me. Not even a hello. The latest decline is the tuna sashimi had sinue in it and they changed the soy sauce from Japanese Kikkoman to something called 21 century that when Googled is a bargain basement distributor and it's made in China. Kimone sushi in Tsawwassen mills has surpassed Sapporo in my opinion. Too bad, I hope they pick it back up.

Picked kids from ferry, time for dinner. We searched this restaurant from Google. Visited here, order dinner box and salad and mango sushi. Taste is good. Inner environment is nice and clean. Food delivery is fast. Waiter told me it is different ownership with the restaurant with same name in White rock. For us, good to try this new one, everything is satisfied. Worthy to go.
