The food is amazing, the service prompt & friendly, and so lovely with engaging in community events. Skyy Thai is all around awesome. You can’t go wrong. Be sure to plan some time as your food will be made fresh for you & it’s popular so there may be a lineup - but it’s soooo worth it! <3

Honestly AMAZING food. But their posted hours are always wrong, they say they keep them as updated as possible but that’s not true.Called multiple days in a row with no answer, and then decided to show up during their posted open hours only to discover them closed, it’s been such a waste of time and gas lately, I’m not even sure if it’s worth it anymore.Thai Issan in Tsawwansen is at least reliable, I guess I’ll start going there more

A friend and myself had an order of Cashew Chicken and Chicken Pad Thai and both were delicious. Very generous portions and leftovers for tomorrow. We will definitely be back.

Find this truck at Emma Lea Farm on Westham Island during berry picking season. All menu items are good, the Pad Thai is excellent!

I order Thai food for the family on Sunday and was really happy with it. I had not had Thai food in way to long... The Pad Thai & Red Curry were my favorites & I will be back for more. Welcome to Ladner Skyy Thai! ? The truck looks great! ????

Wonderful little Thai Food Truck. You'll drive right by it if you take the Ladner exit after the tunnel. The food has been so consistently good. Today the food was fantastic. Really good. Highly recommend...

Overall the taste was good. Pad thai was slightly burnt and the chicken was dry. The basil chicken was very good. I would visit more often if there were other alternatives to chicken dishes.

Absolutely delicious! Good sized portions, everything was very fresh and flavourful, and ordering for pickup was easy. Will definitely be eating here again!

I was excited when I heard about a Thai food truck in Ladner, especially in a place that was home to one of my favourite local meat stores (the J Baird shop closed, sadly). I looked up the menu and saw that you could call your order in, and despite the high prices for Thai food (and food truck food), I decided to give it a go after a long week at work.I tried calling in a couple of times, but received no response, so I decided to drive in and order in person. After parking on the farm lot, I waited in line while the man working the cash took orders, but also took phone calls (so they were answering phones). After ordering their Pad Thai, Chicken Satay and Cashew Chicken ($45), I was told it would be about 30 minutes. This isn’t what I was used to for a food truck, so I went home to drop off the kids before returning to pick up my order. The first thing I noticed when I got home was that the food wasn’t hot (it may have been done early and was sitting on the counter). The next thing I noticed was the small portion size. Because Thai food usually has relatively cheap ingredients, the portions are usually quite large. Not so with this order. The next thing I noticed was that the rice was missing (cashew chicken description indicates that it is “accompanied with rice”. I phoned in again to see if I could pick up my missing rice, but again, received no answer, so I decided to try the food.In addition to smaller portions, they also were very stingy with the protein. Our Cashew Chicken had five cashews and the equivalent of one chicken satay. This was definitely different from the pictures online. Our Chicken pad Thai wasn’t any better. Now, the redeeming quality is that the flavour was good. The Pad Thai was more savoury than sweet and the texture of the noodles was good. The chicken satay was a little dry, but that might be expected for take away.Overall, this was a disappointment. For $45, the food was too expensive, the dishes were skimpy and the service was non-existent. I’m always excited for new food choices in Ladner, but this will not get a return trip. I know that those in Ladner will probably continue to support, but I would recommend going into Richmond or Tsawwassen instead.
