Yenno I have been to this place a lot but haven’t been in about a year. usually the service is good used to be great but it’s still good and the food is great. I was REALLY REALLY upset this time when I went. I went at 6:30pm and they close at 7pm I know it was near closing time but that’s beside the point they serve halal meat and when I asked for halal meat they said NO. And we just looked at each other for a little bit and I go what do you mean no? She says it’s 6:30 we have closed the grill we make halal burgers on. Only serving unhalal. Then they said we can put the halal patties on the other grill if you’re okay with cross contamination. Like that is not okay. My question is why do Muslims have to be put to the back burner if y’all are closing? Either clean the grill and everything after 7pm once you are closed or if your employees really wanna get off and leave at 7 then close the store at 6pm so they can leave by 7. IT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING

The burgers are amazing, the patty itself is so juicy and flavorful, and love that you can choose your own toppings. I've been coming here for years but recently had the chance to meet the owner, Tom. He is super friendly, hardworking, and passionate about his work and it shows! We came about 40 minutes before they closed and Tom told us to take our time and don't rush, he also gave us a little back story about the franchise and even took our trays to the garbage for us. He also told one of his employees to take off a few minutes early! He didn't have to go the extra mile especially before closing and we really appreciated his customer service!
We went back 2 days later around the same time and Tom wasn't there but another cook was, and he wouldn't let us order fries and after we placed our order he was making fries for another person? He seemed annoyed that there were still customers coming in 35 minutes before closing. Besides that, everything here is great!
Also the poutine is amazing!!

Our first time there, the cashier didn’t ask us what topping, so we ended up with a plain burger with no toppings at all!
If they advertise 30 free toppings to choose from, they should train the staff to ask a basic question like this.

South St used to be great. We loved going here everytime we visited Tsawwassen Mills. Something changed on our last visit (today) though - I ordered as usual, waited to say my toppings but was told it would be a while so was advised to sit down to wait. When my number was finally called, to my surprise, my burger was packaged and ready to go. When I pointed out that I didn’t even give my requests or wasn’t even asked what toppings I wanted, I was specifically told that I didn’t order the customizable option. That’s odd I thought. Something must have changed. Ate my burger which tasted fine but was nothing special tbh without the customizations. Later my son pointed out that the menu didn’t say anything about ordering a different burger for customizations - and in fact, it has all the menu options for free customizations which I had even pointed out to the employee when stating I hadn’t given my toppings. The website confirms this. I’m disgusted by this service and by being gaslit by the employees. Will not return.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for a while, and one of the main reasons I kept coming back was the quality of their burgers. However, during my most recent visit, I noticed a significant change in the patty, and unfortunately, it wasn’t for the better. The patty was dry, lacking the juiciness that made their burgers so great before. It also wasn’t tender like it used to be, making the overall meal less enjoyable. It’s really disappointing to see such a drop in quality, especially since this place had been one of my favorites. I really hope they reconsider this change and return to the juicy, flavorful patties that made them stand out in the past.

The patty I got was dry, not juicy, and lacked the tenderness it used to have. It made the whole experience less enjoyable. I hope they reconsider and bring back the quality they had before.
