Dined for two of us for happy hour. And the staff held out the food to go until it was beyond the happy hour time limit and so not to give the deal. When brought to the staff she said she had nothing to do with it. Unfortunate to offer the happy hour time but then to force a cold takeout meal. Staff must give leniency to the time when arrival and departure or you're going to lose the regular s that come there for the time that you're asking them to. Shame on speeds.

Not from here, yet I’m very impressed by their prices on beer. A 600ml beer is $6 - $8 which is nice on the pocket. The food here is good too. It isn’t renovated and not the most cozy place, but it’s the best place I’ve gone for a beer in a long time. Much better than the Rose and Crown and the Landing. The regulars seemed quite nice as well, along with the kind and honest staff. This place is a solid 8/10!!!

So much potential after the new "transition"..Good Food, Clean Environment....sadly...The Days of a Server with "Personality" appear gone..☹️. They are the Frontline of today's 'shared' tip pool. Not much incentive in earning that so called 'minimum' 18%.

Good drinks, fish and chips could be ALOT better. The servers are nice and the service is good. It is definitely a decent place during the summer for a quick bite or a beer on the patio, I would stick to the beer or drinks only, pass on the fish and chips

We are regular guests, at least once a week and have noticed that the quality of service has gone down. Today we sat at our table for about 15 minutes and no one even acknowledged us or greeted us. We took the menus, and still no one came to the table. We then left. It is really sad that this happened. Even when a place is understaffed, at least acknowledge your guests and apologize for slower service. You do not ignore your guests.
Went on Sunday for the prime rib dinner. While the beef was tender, the Yorkshire Pudding lovely, the so called mashed potatoes were terrible! Not really mashed, large chunks of partially cooked potato, very little mash. The thickness of the meat served was in our opinion too thick. In all, was not the Sunday roast dinner we had been looking forward to. The server did tell us the head chef was not on site, soooo could explain it, but won’t be running back for more soon.?

I had a very disappointing experience at speeds pub. My friend and I sat at our table for about 15-20 minutes without any service. The people around us were being served. Despite trying to get the staff's attention, we were completely ignored. This level of neglect is unacceptable. We eventually left and took our business elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for decent customer service.
