It’s been a few years since we’ve been to Speeds and very pleased with our dining experience. We shared the smash burger and fish and chips. The food was excellent. Looking forward to visiting Speeds more often.

Update Feb 2024.Went back. New Owners and all. Went at 5 PM for dinner. Steak sandwich was the Special. Was OK.However, pub was 75 % full. And the NOISE level was at 1000%. I have never been in such a noisy place. Where you have to yell to communicate with your partner sccross the table.Unfortunately, will not be back because this high pitch noise is unbearable. Too Bad.....…....…........................Wrote below years ago. The pub is still good, but outdated. Miss Sparos, who passed a couple of years back. Now the place just doesn't seem the same. The special stuff he would do from time to time, is no longer. The food is average, similar menu, but nothing inspiring....................................Good pub food. Gets very busy at times and waits can be long.Ok wrote above when Spiros (Speeds) was going thru hard times with keeping cooks and staff because Tawassan Mills just opened and everyone was going there.Things settle down. Now Spiros (82 something) has a great staff and everything is back to normal. Thus, moved to 5 Star.

Sorry, the food was good but a little cooler than I wanted. The people I was with loved the Prime dinner, and the Yorkie were a hit and miss. Overall, it was ok.

Tried Speeds since new owners took over,found it to be very nice ,lots of new choices on menu ,my wife and I will definitely be back for the great service!The new Reno's looked great.

What a disappointment. We used to go to this pub fairly regularly on our way to the ferry but this time the management had apparently changed, the pub had very few customers and no atmosphere. The food was pub food, nothing to write about and a meagre choice of beer.
Used to like it here but has been going down for awhile.I loved their breakfasts.They now charge you for Tabasco….. .90 for a little container which is a big waste since you only need a few drops. And I was almost finished before they bothered to even get it from the food counter.After I gave the eye.Too bad…. Other places to go that are much better.

Neighborhood pub with great atmosphere, and right on the water. Food was wonderful, ample servings, and a good selection of beer. Accessible to all. Very friendly and helpful service. I didn't have the kind of ice tea I liked, so she made it for me. Awesome.

Sat out on the patio for over 10 minutes no one came out to serve us. It wasn't busy 15 or 20 people. Went inside and couldn't find a server even though when we went in we went right by a server. We left.

There is a dock in front of the restaurant, making this the perfect place to boat up to for a meal. The food is delicious, and the prices are still very reasonable.
