Mid at best.
Ordered two simple drinks. Both were super diluted and bitter. They also didn't put the flavor shot in we requested.
Got home and mentioned our lack luster experience to family. Without even mentioning the name of the shop they already knew who we were talking about.
Just sad because the location and atmosphere suggest they'd be better, and the place was empty when we ordered so there wasn't even the pressure of a rush to explain the bad product.
Staff was polite enough though.
Not sure what happened but the espresso was top notch for years here until recently. I gave it another shot today and it was bitter , less than 2oz (double shot) and left a horrible after taste. Shame because this was the best coffee house south of the Fraser for a long time.

Cozy coffee shop. Ordered the London Fog drink, which was a good temp and tasted good as well. Price is in line with other independent, local coffee shops

This place has a great location and wonderful courteous and helpful staff.
There wasn't a lot of vegetarian options for savory treats so I got the almond croissant, which is a personal favorite. There was a lot of sweet filling and it was huge, not necessarily my style but it was still good.
I got a decaf caramel oat milk latte and the coffee was quite bitter and I had to put extra sweet in it.
All in all it was a good experience and I'll go back.

I suspect they were having an off day the day we walked in for our one and only visit with them. We had the kind of experience that makes you regret pre-paying a tip that reflects great service.
It was not crowded or super busy in there. There were two tables free and no queue. A flat expressionless face greeted us and rang our order in. She promptly forgot our lemon loaf the minute we paid for it. Sat down thinking it might be brought to us but it wasn’t. Had to get up and ask for it. Got an apology. They gave us a dirty tea cup. Had to go up and exchange it. Got an apology. There’s no milk out for self-serve. Had to go up and ask for it.
I’m pretty low maintenance so it has to be exceptionally poor service for me to write this sort of review. Hoping this was a rare experience because otherwise it seemed like a great little cafe. Also, an unclaimed bag sat on the love seat the entire time we were there making us think someone was sitting there and perhaps just in the bathroom, but no. So there was a lovely seat left empty on a Sunday afternoon because staff were not really engaged.

For me the black coffee I had was too weak and rather generic tasting coffee, similar to a cup of coffee you'd get a McDonald's. Should have ordered an Americano.

I visited this coffee shop for the first time and specifically requested a non-sweet cookie, which was absolutely delicious, along with a latte. Both were perfect. The service was friendly and welcoming. Great experience overall!

It’s great to find a local coffee shop that serves great food too! Never been to Ladner before, and this was a great introduction.

Great coffee shop in Ladner. Grab a coffee to go and hit up the thrift stores! That's what I do!
The layout of the coffeeshop makes sense, allowing for a lineup, a waiting area for orders, and a decent cafe / patio seating area.
I love the coffee, the selection of milk alternatives, the vinyl that gets played, and rare these days: the washrooms are tidy and clean. (Though perhaps they are on the verge of needing a bit of TLC).
