I usually come here for their fresh salmon, but I recently discovered they also have whole, cold-smoked mackerel, which I’ve been searching for a long time. It’s delicious, with a great smoky flavour that’s not overly salty or fishy. The only downside is the texture is a bit too soft, but I think that’s how I defrost it. I’ll definitely come back for more!
Seafood here is always fresh. My husband comes from a fishing family and he won't eat fish from anywhere else in Delta. They also have a good selection of quality products in their freezer section. I don't buy as much off their shelves because many of the dry foods, sauces and spices are cheaper elsewhere.
I love this place. Not always the cheapest, and service can seem a bit abrupt, it’s nothing personal, just West Coast. I have bought stuff for 8 years here, never had anything substandard from them. Bought their fresh oysters today super fresh. So good.
