In its latest iteration Village BBQ has only improved upon its consistently great tasting food. Their beef bihari and chicken tikka are my absolute favourites. Speaking for myself I have not yet experienced these two items better anywhere else. If I close my eyes when eating I can easily imagine myself sitting and enjoying the food at a roadside eatery on Burns Road Karachi.
Another reason I love this place is because their menu is one page and not a manual?
Be aware that they prepare everything fresh (BBQ items) and take about 40 minutes. I always call ahead so food is ready when I get there. If you are looking for real Karachi flavours this place will not disappoint you.
We went to village BBQ last night and the waitress didn’t even say hi to us. I read the notice about 45 minutes time and understood but they didn’t even gave us water or said a thing! After 50 minutes I asked for water and then they gave us water. Ever since I asked for water that waitress was giving me an angry look. Everytime we said thx she would just look and roll her eyes and walk away. As if going to that restaurant and asking for water after 50 minutes was a crime. After 1 hour and 25 minutes we got our food and it was cold as if it was left out for a while after cooking. The beef bihari Kabab was good but would have been better if it was atleast warm. Most of all, we go to restaurant to eat not because we can’t cook but to feel relaxed and treated like guest which was missing there. I donno what is it with those girls that work there but they have some bad attitude .

Loved the food and service yesterday Nov 2nd , 2024. Went there after a while, Irfan has been very friendly and caring as always. Pleased to see the restaurant so busy, did not mind waiting 45 minutes, as the wait was worth for quality of food.

Visited The Village BBQ with my wife today and though the food looked promising and did have taste, however, the meat was all cold. The puri paratha was nice and hot but the meat itself, though flavourful, was noticeably cold.
Would recommend the owners look into this. The food also took a good 35-40min which is a lot of time for an empty restaurant with the two of us in it.
Will probably be a while till I visit this place again.

We ordered Beef Bihari Kabab platter & Mutton Dum Biryani…..the balanced taste & flavour of Bihari kabab took me back to my good old days growing up in Pakistan. Biryani was just as good. We ordered Dum ka Qeema to go & enjoyed the next day just as much. The place is very clean, service is great & the owner herself is a very pleasant lady. Allah ap ko bahut barkat de aur apke haatho me zaiqa isi tarah barqarar rakhe :)
Very good food ,friendly staff,only i would suggest if they make more seating & hire more ppl,that would be help to increase their sale & satisfaction for customers as well,over all food is good & authentic pakistani taste!
I tried paratha roll and it was really tasteful. Not heavy at all and the sauces inside added more taste.

My review is mostly based on customer service. We placed 3 separate orders (2 were under person A and 1 under person B) through storefront doordash and estimated time was 25-30mins. we got a message 25mins later that order one was ready. And then right after got a call from storefront doordash that other order will take additionally 40mins will you like to proceed or not. We decided no, because it was already late and didn’t have time to wait. However we couldn’t figure out which of the orders was ready! And if person Bs order is ready or not, will it still take the initial estimated time or more so we called the restaurant to figure all that out to which they tell us that no order through storefront has been cancelled but and no order is ready yet. But yes it will be an additional 40mins (this was already after 30-35 minutes had passed) to get the orders ready. We told them please cancel so the lady says I can’t cancel since meat is already on the grill and you have already paid. After back and forth we said okay. And reached village bbq after 45mins to pick up our order. Which was still not ready, we waited another 20mins! It was a total waste of time.. we didn’t even eat the food since it took so long and we had grabbed other food! You’re food can be great, but if your customer service is inconsiderate, dishonest then it’s not worth it!
